Game Rant is privileged to bring you an exclusive sneak peek at the latest trailer for “Big Helmet Heroes”. The humorous video offers a glimpse into several stages and combats featured in this upcoming beat-em-up game, serving as the last preview before its early February 2025 launch.
Big Helmet Heroes marks the second game from French developer Exalted Games, following their initial release, Big Helmet Heroes: PVP Arena, which was exclusive to Android devices in 2022. However, unlike its predecessor, this new title is set to be available on various platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Prior to the launch of the game, French publisher Dear Villagers unveiled a fresh trailer for “Big Helmet Heroes”, a reveal we are privileged to share here at Game Rant firsthand. The 81-second video starts with some amusing pre-rendered scenes, before shifting focus onto gameplay demonstrations. While “Big Helmet Heroes” can be played individually, the game was primarily developed as a local cooperative brawler, a feature that is emphasized repeatedly in the latest trailer.
Big Helmet Heroes Promises Great Character and Enemy Variety
In any top-notch beat-em-up game, it’s essential to have a diverse array of enemies, and that’s exactly what Big Helmet Heroes delivers. The launch trailer gives us sneak peeks at numerous foes players will be able to pummel throughout the game, from goblins and robotic scorpions to metal dragons, siege weapons, and oversized versions of the game’s characters themselves. Giant creatures seem to be a hallmark of the Big Helmet Heroes enemy lineup, with some being so enormous they don’t fit entirely within the screen, as hinted at around the 62-second mark in the new trailer. The game also guarantees a wealth of character choice, offering 29 playable heroes to choose from.
