According to the announcement by its publisher Krafton, the game titled InZOI will debut at a price of $40. This was confirmed during a recent early access event where they also unveiled an extensive post-launch content plan for the game, InZOI.

The debut game by South Korea’s inZOI Studio generated some buzz before its launch, as it was comparable to The Sims in terms of being a life simulation, but with more realistic graphics. As of early 2023, production on InZOI has been ongoing, and the studio aims for a release date in 2025.

Krafton recently unveiled an extended online event, showcasing significant updates about their rival to The Sims. Among these revelations was the early access launch date: March 28, along with a promise to provide numerous free DLC throughout this phase. One such pack is named “Kucingku Cat Island,” set to debut in August 2025, coinciding with International Cat Day on the 8th of that month. This upcoming free addition will introduce a new city called “Kucingku” within InZOI, inspired by Southeast Asia as suggested by its Indonesian and Malay name, which translates to “my cat.

InZOI Update 2 Will Add Pools, Freelancer Jobs, and More

The next major upgrade for the game during the period from August to late September 2025 is scheduled. This update will unveil several new features related to InZOI, such as the “ghost play” mode, which allows Zois who die without sufficient karma points to linger in the game until they’ve made amends. Additionally, this release will include swimming capabilities, pools, extra resources for Edit City, and an AI-assisted Build Mode. Furthermore, the second update will introduce freelance jobs, enhancements to the parenting system, and improvements to how skills and text messages function within the game.

The upcoming third update for InZOI is scheduled to launch somewhere within the timeframe of October to December 2025. This release will feature a family tree system, hotkey remapping support, and an enhancement in Build Mode allowing you to adjust object sizes. Additionally, it will introduce new furniture, updates for mods, user interface improvements, and modifications to Create a Zoi mode, along with some other changes.

InZOI Announces $39.99 Price With ‘Players Over Profit’ Motto

Krafton has disclosed that the game InZOI will debut at $39.99, making it noticeably less expensive than most contemporary high-budget titles. During a live stream, they displayed a “players over profit” slogan alongside this pricing information. However, there’s uncertainty about whether the price might alter after the game’s complete launch. The early access version of InZOI will initially only be available on PC, but plans are in place for its future release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S as well.
