A Minecraft player recently posted a video demonstrating an outstanding 360 degree trickshot from a Witch using a splash of poison. Witches are formidable enemies within Minecraft due to their potent poison effect, and this particular one might just be the most skilled in the entire game.
Initially, when Minecraft debuted, it featured a variety of hostile characters such as Skeletons, Spiders, and Zombies, along with passive mobs like Cows, Pigs, and Sheep. Over time, new adversaries have been incorporated into the game via numerous updates, including the Warden, Phantoms, Ravagers, and the latest addition from Minecraft’s Pale Garden. The Witch was introduced in version 1.4.2 back in 2012, along with Bats, the Wither boss, Zombie Villagers, and Command Blocks. Although they don’t inflict heavy damage, a Witch’s poison often proves lethal as it gradually drains players’ health to one heart. A player recently posted a video showcasing a Witch that attacked them with poison after performing a 360-spin in water.
Reddit user Elena-Starlit55 recently posted a clip featuring a Minecraft player being struck by an impressive 360 trickshot with poison, while navigating watery terrain filled with bamboo. The video starts with the character sprinting next to some Minecraft bamboo near a small pond, leaping over it to strike a submerged Witch with an Iron Sword. After the Witch retreats, the player keeps their distance before attacking again. Unbeaten, the Witch resurfaces and swiftly spins in circles, launching poison projectiles at the player during its rotation. Despite appearing to dodge the flying poison bottle, the player ends up getting hit, sustaining poison damage. The video concludes with a replay of the event in slow motion, emphasizing the unexpected skill demonstrated by the Witch.
This Minecraft Witch Has Talent
Toward the end of the video, it’s uncertain if the Spider managed to overcome the player. Since the poison causes health to decrease until there’s only a single heart left, a single strike from the Spider might have been enough to win. Unlike Zombies that perish in sunlight, Witches and Spiders continue wandering until they disappear or are defeated by players. Witches aren’t frequently seen in the Overworld by this player as they usually inhabit cave systems and Minecraft Swamp huts. Milk can neutralize a Witch’s poison quickly, and it can be obtained from Cows when a player fills a Bucket with milk. Although this player didn’t have any Milk in their inventory for immediate use, it’s possible they had some stored away.
Although the player in the video didn’t lose their life during gameplay, it vividly demonstrates the potential peril that Witches pose within the game. As Mojang continues to refine Minecraft, there may be an increasing number of formidable foes appearing across the Overworld in future updates.
