Should You Choose The Voice on the Phone in Atomfall?

As a gamer immersed in the world of Atomfall, I can personally vouch that The Voice on the Phone might just be your ticket to a brighter ending in the game. To put it simply, yes, I’d say you can trust The Voice on the Phone. Though their intentions are somewhat shrouded in mystery, this enigmatic figure delivers on their promise – offering an escape from the quarantine zone if you manage to complete the task they assign you.

As a gamer, I’ve got to navigate through the quarantine zone with guidance from The Voice on my phone. My main objectives are to reach The Interchange and then move onto Oberon. Once there, I’ll need to set up and detonate it. To pull this off, I’ll have to strategically place a series of bombs in quick succession. If I manage to complete the mission, The Voice promises a swift extraction from the quarantine zone – at least, that’s what the storyline suggests will happen as I reach the end.

How To Get The Voice on the Phone Ending in Atomfall

In contrast to various endings in the game Atomfall, such as those involving Mother Jago and Captain Sims, the Voice on the Phone ending demands the least player interaction. This is because the Voice maintains a “don’t trust anyone but me” stance, eliminating the need for players to earn favor with other characters within the game. In essence, achieving the Voice on the Phone ending involves destroying Oberon. Although this may seem straightforward in concept, it necessitates that players have completed all essential aspects of the game before reaching that point.

To get the Voice on the Phone ending, players will need to complete the following steps:

  • Collect 5-6 Atomic Batteries throughout your playthrough.
  • Acquire a Signal Redirector to activate the Central Processor and open the entrance to Oberon.
  • Open the Interchange from all entrances, and use the Atomic Batteries to power up the datapoints
  • Arm the bombs surrounding Oberon to blow it up, then return to the phone at the entrance to Windscale.
  • Run back to the starting bunker in the game in the south of Slatten Dale, and speak to the Voice on the phone in the opening room of the game.
