Following the conclusion of the second season of Yoshitoki Ōima’s “To Your Eternity” in March 2023, it was announced that a third season would follow. However, details about the series have been scarce until now. On Thursday, the official X account (formerly known as Twitter) confirmed that season 3 of “To Your Eternity” will air in October, making it part of the Fall 2025 anime lineup.

Crunchyroll has shared that they’ll broadcast the latest season simultaneously with its Japanese release, along with unveiling a fresh promotional image to go with this announcement.

The Series Enters the Modern Era

The third installment of “To Your Eternity” was first announced in March 2023, after the conclusion of season 2. This forthcoming season will be based on the “This World” or “New World” arc from the manga, where Fushi’s journey progresses into the contemporary era and encounters the hurdles posed by a technologically advanced society. As of now, no details regarding staff or cast have been disclosed for season 3. The first story arc of the original manga was published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2016 to 2020, followed by the second arc from 2020 to 2022, and the third arc commenced in January 2023. The first season of “To Your Eternity” aired from April to August 2021, getting delayed from its initial October 2020 release date because of COVID-19. Season 2 aired from October 2022 to March 2023, and Crunchyroll streamed both seasons globally.
