I always loved how different *Parasite Eve* was from other RPGs at the time. Most games had huge stories and you controlled a whole team, but this one put you directly in the shoes of Aya Brea, and it was a much shorter, more intense horror experience – and it all took place in New York City, which was so cool!

Okay, so this game seriously messed with my head – the body horror stuff was way more intense than I expected! I was totally invested in stopping Eve and her crazy quest for perfection, because honestly, she was a real threat to everyone. The combat was really interesting too – it wasn’t just one thing, it mixed real-time action with turn-based strategy. It’s not a super long game, but the story is so good, it feels really epic and kept me hooked the whole time.
