YouTuber Drama Erupts as MrBeast, KSI and Logan Reveal Lunchly Line

As a longtime fan who has grown up with these YouTubers, watching them evolve from content creators to business moguls, I must confess I find myself torn between admiration and concern. On one hand, it’s inspiring to see them taking their brands to new heights and creating innovative products like Lunchly. On the other hand, I can’t help but wonder if they’re losing touch with their roots as creators who built their communities based on trust and genuine connections.

On a platform formerly known as Twitter, internet personalities DanTDM, KSI, Logan Paul, and MrBeast have found themselves in a disagreement after the unveiling of their Lunchly collaboration.

Three well-known YouTube personalities – KSI, Logan, and MrBeast – have unveiled their joint venture called Lunchly. This new enterprise aims to challenge the established American brand Lunchables in the market. Similar to its competitor, Lunchly offers pre-prepared meals, but it distinguishes itself by incorporating the YouTubers’ popular items such as Prime Hydration and Feastables chocolate, along with a variety of tasty snacks.

Yesterday, DanTDM voiced his displeasure on X about KSI, Logan, and MrBeast launching the Lunchly brand. He began by saying, “It’s hard not to speak up about this, guys. What happened to YouTubers?” The Minecraft content creator went on to express that these YouTubers are merely selling products for the sake of making money. He then questioned how their fans would gain from it. In conclusion, he stated, “This is peddling junk to kids who don’t realize they’re being taken advantage of. Improve your actions.

It seems like YouTubers have crossed a line… They’re prioritizing profits over authenticity, which leaves me speechless. I can’t help but wonder how this serves their audience’s best interests?

All three YouTubers have already responded to DanTDM’s post. The first to chime in was Logan Paul, who stated that they had spent their lives “creating content” and building their brands and now “want to build businesses.” Paul concluded that DanTDM didn’t say anything: “When Lunchables faces bans for allegedly containing LEAD, but when we create a better version, you’re upset? Then don’t eat it.”

MrBeast mentioned that he aims to provide a healthier option for people who frequently purchase Lunchables, as they desire a more nutritious choice. He compares Lunchables and Lunchly, highlighting that Lunchly contains 80% fewer calories, 60% less sugar, more electrolytes, real cheese instead of their “cheese product,” higher-quality meat, and so on.

MrBeast stated that he recognizes the fact that consuming “fresh chicken and broccoli is more beneficial for health,” but if an individual is already opting for ready-made meals, then offering them a superior quality alternative at approximately the same cost is advantageous, in his view. This is why we initiated Lunchly.

Lunchables, a popular brand, sells hundreds of millions of packages and countless individuals consume it daily. Our aim is to provide consumers with healthier alternatives. For instance, our turkey meal offers 80 fewer calories, 60% less sugar, more electrolytes, and we use real cheese instead of the “cheese product” they use (due to regulations, their product can’t be labeled as ‘cheese’).
