At long last, the eagerly anticipated finale of “Reacher” Season 3 has arrived on Prime Video! This third installment of the series has undoubtedly been one of the standout shows of 2025, delivering an abundance of enjoyment for viewers. Beyond mere entertainment, the show has also shone in its storytelling abilities and presented some truly formidable villains drawn from Lee Child’s acclaimed novel series. From the outset, it was apparent that Jack Reacher would need to push himself to his limits to complete this perilous mission. As each episode unfolded, the stakes grew ever higher, and our title character found himself in increasingly dire straits. However, the climax of the penultimate episode left little doubt that Julius McCabe, aka Xavier Quinn, is a cunning mastermind who always manages to outwit his adversaries.

In the closing scenes of Episode 7, Reacher, Duffy, and a group of ATF agents arrive at the location where the transaction was supposed to occur. Unfortunately, it was all a setup orchestrated by Quinn, with the actual exchange happening at Zachary Beck’s residence instead. Reacher swiftly recognizes the situation and devises a strategy. So, let’s delve into the events unfolding in the finale of Reacher Season 3 to uncover Reacher’s plan.

Reacher and team reach Beck’s house to stop the deal

In the final episode of Season 3 of Reacher, titled “Unfinished Business“, a confrontation unfolds at the compound. Following a call with Neagley, it becomes clear that Quinn has dispatched his team to handle Beck and those in the compound. Without delay, Reacher initiates a violent skirmish and eliminates one of the men. A prolonged battle ensues, resulting in the deaths of many ATF agents and Quinn’s men. One of Quinn’s men manages to survive but is about to alert Quinn about the situation. Catching wind of this, Reacher makes him erase the message and instead instructs him to tell Quinn that everything is under control.

Meanwhile, Neagley contacts Reacher, informing him that the Tehrani buyers have arrived at Beck’s residence, and a deal might transpire soon. This prompts Reacher to devise a strategy: they will enter Beck’s property in trucks provided by Quinn’s men, attempting to halt the transaction and rescuing Richard Beck and Teresa Daniels along the way. Neagley raises concern about keeping Paulie occupied as he has lethal capabilities without weapons. Reacher assures him that he’ll handle it.

A short while passes, and Reacher, Duffy, Beck, Neagley, and Guillermo head towards Beck’s residence in the truck. Meanwhile, Paulie notices that the trucks are missing from their customary spots and follows them instead. Reacher instructs everyone to enter the house from a different entrance, while he handles Paulie. As others proceed into the house, an anticipated confrontation between Paulie and Reacher ensues.

Quinn tries completing the deal as Duffy looks for Teresa

Within the house, Quinn is persuading the potential buyers to wrap up the transaction swiftly. Simultaneously, he hints at a surprise for their boss located upstairs in the bedroom and shares a picture of Teresa with him. However, it appears the buyers are hesitant about finalizing the deal, preferring to enjoy themselves first. Meanwhile, Duffy, Neagley, Beck, and Guillermo enter the house, splitting up. Neagley takes on the role of a server at the gathering to monitor Quinn and the buyers. In the meantime, Guillermo is tasked with rescuing Richard, while Duffy searches for Teresa. As Neagley mingles among the guests, she sticks close to Quinn. On the other hand, Guillermo heads towards Richard but encounters one of Quinn’s security members, who halts his progress. Guillermo attempts to diffuse the situation with an explanation, but it fails, and a scuffle erupts between them. Despite suffering injuries during the altercation, Guillermo manages to subdue the guard before Richard locates him in one of the bathrooms.

Paulie and Reacher begin their brutal showdown as Quinn backstab buyers

Somewhere else, it appears that Quinn betrayed the Tehran buyers and shot men during a trade, unfortunately for him, he encountered Richard in one of the hallways and led him into Beck’s office filled with weapons. As Quinn reached for a gun from the cabinet, Beck emerged, threatening to kill him if anything were to happen to his son. The gun Beck held was the same one Richard had given him as a birthday gift. Quinn dropped the machine gun, allowing Richard to approach Beck. In an attempt to shoot Quinn, the front part of Richard’s gun began to malfunction. For those unaware, this malfunction occurred in the penultimate episode, and Richard was trying to repair it. Once Quinn learned about the faulty gun, he killed Beck. Fortunately, Richard managed to escape.

Meanwhile, a fierce battle unfolded between Reacher and Paulie in the outskirts of the premises. Reacher employed every tactic possible to subdue Paulie, but he just kept getting back up. In the closing scenes of the series finale, it was finally Reacher who managed to apprehend Quinn and end his life.

The last episode of Season 3 for the series Reacher, being the eighth one, wrapped up this part of the story quite nicely. It was packed with intense close-quarters fighting scenes, a fierce battle between Paulie and Reacher, and delivered an engaging narrative. In just 50 minutes, it demonstrated what can happen when everything aligns perfectly. A thrilling end to a thrilling season indeed.
