Zelda Fans Can Pre-Order a ‘Life-Size’ Statue of Tears of the Kingdom’s Decayed Master Sword Soon

Fans of The Legend of Zelda will soon be able to buy a full-size replica of the ancient Master Sword from Tears of the Kingdom. First 4 Figures is creating the statue, and pre-orders will open later this month, though a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.

The Master Sword is a legendary weapon instantly recognizable from many The Legend of Zelda games. In Tears of the Kingdom, a damaged version of the sword appears, weakened by the dark force called Gloom rising from beneath Hyrule Castle. This ‘Decayed Master Sword‘ isn’t as powerful as the original, so players are encouraged to experiment with the game’s Fuse ability – combining different items to create new weapons. Although many players quickly replace it after the initial tutorial, the Decayed Master Sword has still made a memorable impact.

First 4 Figures Teases Decayed Master Sword Statue

First 4 Figures recently announced a new, life-size statue of the iconic Decayed Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Pre-orders will open on December 18th. While a release date hasn’t been announced yet, it’s expected sometime in 2026. The price will remain a secret until the statue launches, but those who pre-order will receive a $10 discount. First 4 Figures has shared a preview of the statue’s design on social media.

This isn’t the first statue First 4 Figures has made based on The Legend of Zelda series. They already offer a collection of replicas from Breath of the Wild, including the Sheikah Slate and Hylian Shield, as well as figures of Link, Zelda, and the Champions. They’ve even created a Majora’s Mask statue inspired by the classic N64 game. While prices for these collectibles vary, the new, life-size replica of the Decayed Master Sword from Tears of the Kingdom is likely to be expensive. Currently, the most expensive item on the First 4 Figures website is the Breath of the Wild – Link on Horseback statue, which costs $724.99.

Even as fans eagerly await the reveal of a new statue, 2025 has already been a significant year for Tears of the Kingdom. The game received an upgraded version for the new Switch 2 console, along with Breath of the Wild, offering improved graphics and smoother gameplay. This enhanced version also introduced the Zelda Notes app, which adds features like Voice Memories and the ability to easily share building creations with other Switch 2 players. Best of all, if you have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership and already own the original Switch version of Tears of the Kingdom, you can upgrade to the Switch 2 Edition for free.

2026 looks promising for fans of The Legend of Zelda. A movie is currently being made and is scheduled to come out in 2027, meaning we might see a trailer as early as next year. Considering Tears of the Kingdom launched on May 12, 2023, there’s also a good chance we’ll hear about the next major Zelda game sometime in 2026.

Many gamers are still enjoying Tears of the Kingdom. Even though it’s been out for a while, players are keeping themselves entertained by building amazing creations using the game’s Ultrahand ability. Hopefully, the game itself and related merchandise will help fans pass the time until the next installment is released.
