Zelda: TotK – Where to Get All Divine Beasts Helms

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can find four special helmets inspired by the Divine Beasts from the previous game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. These helmets look great and also offer unique protective powers. While similar helmets appeared in Breath of the Wild, they were only available by scanning amiibo figures of the Four Champions.

You can still get the Divine Beast Helms by using amiibo in Tears of the Kingdom, but now you can also find them hidden around Hyrule. These helms will be especially useful for protecting Link as he explores areas affected by the strange Regional Phenomena.

The helmets also boost the powers Link learns by helping people in Hyrule. Because of this, it’s a good idea for players to find these powerful items early in the game. Here’s where you can find each of the four Divine Beast Helms in Tears of the Kingdom.

Vah Medoh Divine Helm Location in Tears of the Kingdom

To get the item that provides Cold Resistance when worn, players need to go to North Biron Snowshelf Cave. You can find the cave at coordinates (-3962, 3274, 0240) in the northeastern part of Hyrule. The Rospro Pass Skyview Tower is conveniently located just south of the cave, making it a great place to fast travel to.

The area is extremely cold, so players should bring warm gear. It’s also important to avoid attracting the attention of the nearby Frost Gleeok unless you’re ready for a battle.

To unlock the Vah Medoh Divine Helm inside the cave, you’ll need to use fire to melt ice and break rocks from a distance. Make sure you have items to create fire, arrows, and Bomb Flowers. We strongly recommend bringing a Zonai Flame Emitter to quickly melt the ice blocking the cave entrance. There are a few Bomb Flowers inside, but only enough to complete the puzzle, so bring extra if you think you’ll need them.

Our guide will help you solve the puzzle in the North Biron Snowshelf Cave and get the Vah Medoh Divine Helm.

You can also get the Vah Medoh Divine Helm by using the Revali amiibo. Scanning it once each day will make a chest appear, and there’s a chance that chest will contain the helm.

Vah Naboris Divine Helm Location in Tears of the Kingdom

To get the Shock Resistance buff, which prevents Link from taking lightning damage, you’ll need to find the West Gerudo Underground Ruins. The easiest way to get there is to travel to the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, launch into the air, and then glide southwest towards the ruins’ entrance, located at coordinates (-4673, -1976, 0023).

Here, players will find a Shock Like enemy and a small hole covered by a large ribcage – this is the entrance to the underground ruins. To get through, and explore the cave fully, it’s helpful to bring Bomb Flowers to break the fragile rocks. However, a powerful fused weapon will also do the trick. Inside, players can find several two-handed weapons and plenty of rocks to use.

You can also get the Vah Naboris Divine Helm by using the Urbosa amiibo. When you scan it, a chest will appear once a day, and there’s a chance it will contain the helm.

Vah Rudania Divine Helm Location in Tears of the Kingdom

This item gives Link the Flame Guard buff, which protects him from fire and intense heat – though it won’t protect him from the heat of the desert. It’s fitting that you find this helmet near Death Mountain, specifically in Death Caldera, between two lizard-shaped lakes. The quickest way to get there is to fast travel to the Sibajitak Shrine.

At this spot, players will find a stone wall they can break open at coordinates (2200, 3079, 0405). Breaking the wall leads into the Lizard’s Burrow cave. The Vah Rudania Divine Helm is the simplest of the four to get – players just need to clear a few stones inside the cave to reach the chest containing it.

As a big fan, I was so excited to find out you can get the Vah Rudania Divine Helm by scanning the Daruk amiibo! It’s awesome – you can scan it once a day, and a chest will appear. It doesn’t always have the helm inside, but it’s a chance to get it, which is still really cool!

Vah Ruta Divine Helm Location in Tears of the Kingdom

This helmet can be a bit difficult to find, but it’s worth the effort! It gives you a helpful boost to your swimming speed, and this bonus combines with any other items that also increase swim speed. As you might expect, you’ll find the helmet in the Cave Under Zora’s Domain, which is located near Zora’s Domain. The quickest way to get there is to fast travel to the Mogawak Shrine – it’s right inside Zora’s Domain.

If you haven’t already activated this shrine, travel to the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower and glide down to its location – it’s easily visible from above. Once you reach the Mogawak Shrine, climb the ladder onto the bridge and walk past the first big waterfall. Jump off the bridge and use your paraglider to fly backward, through the waterfall, to land at the cave entrance with coordinates (3244, 0376, 0078).

If you want to find the secret area behind the waterfall and access the Cave Under Zora’s Domain, Game Rant has a guide that also explains how to get the Vah Ruta Divine Helm.

Okay, so I found out you can get the Vah Ruta Divine Helm by using the Mipha amiibo! Basically, if I scan it, once every 24 hours, a chest will pop up, and there’s a chance it’ll have the helm inside. Pretty cool, huh?
