As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent traversing various virtual worlds, I can confidently say that the upcoming 1.2 update for Zenless Zone Zero has me absolutely thrilled! The prospect of exploring New Eridu on a motorcycle ride with Caesar and Burnice from the Sons of Calydon faction is nothing short of exhilarating.
HoYoverse has revealed that the 1.2 update for Zenless Zone Zero is scheduled for release on September 25th, introducing characters Burnice and Caesar hailing from the Sons of Calydon group.
Title Update Sub “Tour de Inferno
At the gaming hub, Godfinger, a fresh arcade game titled “Bizarre Brigade” will debut. Moreover, exciting events such as “Overlord’s Feast” are also on the horizon. Since its launch, the content has been consistently strong, but these major updates always bring in substantial additions, most notably introducing two new characters to acquire.

In Version 1.2, the Outer Ring, situated beyond downtown New Eridu, serves as the primary setting for the unfolding narrative. Though it appears barren and uninviting, this area is rich in fuel reserves, a fact that occasionally sparks rivalries and conflicts among various factions. In the upcoming update, Proxies will join forces with Caesar, Burnice, and other Sons of Calydon comrades to confront their adversaries, The Vanquishers, and Overlord Pompey. Additionally, players can expect to traverse New Eridu as Caesar and Burnice in the revised version.
In the Outer Ring, the Sons of Calydon faction manages a logistics firm called Leaps and Bounds, moving resources through Hollows. The head of the Sons of Calydon, Caesar, is an elite Physical Defense Agent with a high S-Rank status. Not only does she protect allies by providing a shield boost, but she can also dish out significant damage using her shield and debilitate enemies when Perfect Block or Defensive Assist activates. A new character joining the roster is Burnice, another S-Rank agent specializing in Fire Anomalies. This character has the ability to inflict large amounts of fire damage and rapidly accumulate Anomaly Buildup to incinerate enemies with twin flamethrowers. Lastly, Bangboo Red Moccus, an S-Rank member of the Sons of Calydon, is eager to jump into battle on his customized Bangboo motorcycle.
In addition, you’ll find the action-packed, time-limited survival shooting game “Bizarre Brigade” on Godfinger. As you progress in this roguelike title, you’ll unlock various characters to help you conquer challenges. Plus, you can hone your combat skills with characters from diverse factions at no cost, leveling up your Agents quicker. Additionally, a new gameplay called Investigator Training Course at HIA provides an opportunity for players to earn rewards by participating.
HoYoVerse also confirmed there will be some gameplay elements that will be updated:
Beginning with Version 1.2, players will automatically receive all Observation Data and associated rewards from the TV board, thanks to FAIRY’s assistance upon completing their initial exploration of the board. Additionally, the overall design of the TV board, including animations, is being enhanced and optimized for smoother gameplay. This means that players will have a more engaging experience with the story and combat sequences in Chapter 4.
Additionally, users can set up their teams for battle in advance and change the timing at will. Furthermore, a backup battery charge is included to give players extra energy during gameplay.
