Zoro’s Epic Rise: Characters He’ll Outshine in Elbaf!

Summary

  • Zoro in Elbaf faces a chance to surpass One Piece characters by fighting God’s Knights.
  • Vista once surpassed Zoro, but now Zoro has surpassed him, showcasing his tremendous growth.
  • Zoro may have the opportunity to overtake Eustass Kid and possibly even Trafalgar Law after Elbaf.

In the Straw Hat Pirates, Roronoa Zoro is a member of the fearsome trio known as the Monster Trio. Since he became part of their crew, he’s squared off against numerous formidable adversaries that have pushed him to the limits and tested his might.

Zoro is highly skilled in wielding three swords, yet he’s versatile enough to adapt other fighting styles. His most formidable challenge came during Wano when he squared off against King, a trusted lieutenant of Kaido. At present, the crew finds itself in Elbaf, and it’s possible they’ll encounter the God’s Knights. If Zoro were to engage a member of this elite group, his power would undoubtedly grow, allowing him to surpass numerous characters within the world of One Piece.

The post contains spoilers for One Piece.

5. Vista

Affiliation: The Whitebeard Pirates

  • World Renowned Swordsman
  • Has Powerful Haki

Previously serving as the Fifth-in-Command of the Whitebeard Pirates, Vista was unwaveringly devoted to their captain, ready to make significant sacrifices for his leader. Through the passage of time, he proved himself to be one of Whitebeard’s most reliable subordinates. Armed with two swords, Vista’s abilities have gained him great recognition among others in the pirate world.

Vista possesses the skills of both Armament and Observation Haki. While one might underestimate his abilities, it’s worth recalling that he went toe-to-toe with Mihawk without a scratch. It’s also significant to note that Mihawk, a renowned swordsman himself, acknowledged Vista’s exceptional skillset. Given his long tenure with the Whitebeard Pirates, it’s reasonable to infer that he has encountered many formidable adversaries. Initially, Vista would have easily outmatched Zoro in their early days, but now, the tables have turned, and Zoro has surpassed him.

4. Eustass Kid

Affiliation: The Kid Pirates

  • Awakened His Jiki Jiki no Mi
  • Fought And Defeated A Yonko

Eustass Kid is the leader of the Kid Pirates. He first appeared in the Sabaody storyline, alongside other notable characters known as Supernovas. From the moment fans initially saw him, they instantly admired him. The audience admired his distinctive style and character traits. Not only does he possess a strong spirit, but he also commands three types of Haki and wields a powerful Devil Fruit.

The Child’s Jiki Jiki no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that provides control over magnetic forces, both attractive and repulsive. Given his numerous battles, it’s hardly unexpected that Eustass Kid manifested the powers of his Devil Fruit. In the arc set in Wano Country, Kid demonstrated greater strength than Zoro; however, Zoro has a chance to surpass him following Elbaf.

3. Trafalgar Law

Affiliation: The Heart Pirates

  • Law Consumedd The Ope Ope no Mi
  • Has Taken Down A Yonko

Trafalgar Law is a standout supporting character within the series One Piece. From early on in life, he’s encountered numerous dangerous predicaments, yet he’s managed to overcome each one due to the support of his dear friends. Among a select few characters outside of the Straw Hat crew, Law has made appearances across several story arcs, which has endeared him to viewers.

Law consumed the Ope Ope no Mi, often referred to as the Ultimate Devil Fruit. This unique fruit bestows him with a variety of powers, including creating spaces, injuring someone’s internal organs, and extracting a person’s heart without causing death. At present, Law is leading Zoro in Wano, but this might not remain the case if the Straw Hat pirates successfully master Conqueror’s Haki during their visit to Elbaf.

2. Yamato

Affiliation: Wano Country

  • Ate The Inu Inu no Mi, Model Okuchi no Makami
  • Can Use All Three Haki Types

In combat, much like her father, Yamato exhibits monstrous abilities that rival some of the most renowned figures in One Piece. Yet, sadly, she endured significant hardships at the hands of Kaido, who thought this ordeal would prove beneficial to her.

Yamato consumed the Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit known as Okuchi no Makami, Inu Inu no Mi. This fruit grants her powers associated with Wano’s guardian deity, carrying immense importance. Besides using this Devil Fruit, Yamato is skilled in three types of Haki. She primarily excels in Armament and Conqueror’s Haki, often merging the two to amplify the potency of her attacks and inflict greater damage. Overcoming Yamato might prove difficult for Zoro, but with mastery over Conqueror’s Haki, he should be able to succeed.

1. Sabo

Affiliation: The Revolutionary Army

  • Possesses The Mera Mera no Mi
  • An Excellent Armament Haki User

Sabo serves as the trusted deputy of Monkey D. Dragon. Following his rescue from imminent peril by Dragon, he joined their group. Soon after joining, Sabo underwent rigorous training alongside prominent members like Hack, Kuma, Ivankov, and even Dragon himself. The grueling regimen enhanced Sabo’s physical prowess, enabling him to engage in battles against formidable opponents such as Fujitora, a high-ranking Navy Admiral.

As a fervent fan, let me share my excitement about Sabo’s unique abilities! He wields the Mera Mera no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that grants him the power to generate and command fire on demand. Though he’s relatively new to this power, Sabo has shown remarkable control over it. What sets him apart is his mastery of both Armament and Observation Haki.

The Armament Haki allows him to craft a distinct combat style that focuses on striking an opponent’s core, inflicting severe damage upon impact. At the present moment, Sabo holds an edge slightly above Zoro in terms of strength, yet the Straw Hat Pirates have the potential to close the gap and even surpass Sabo if they manage to gain a power-up in Elbaf.
