In Pistol Whip, you earn more points by hitting enemies in sync with the rhythm of the music, and the soundtrack is packed with high-energy dance tracks reminiscent of those played at a nightclub in movies. Beyond hardware restrictions, Piston Whip provides an overwhelming amount of content, and there’s also the option to create custom levels for endless replayability.

Superhot is another game that can be played in VR, but it functions fine without a headset.
As a fan, I’d put it this way: In the world of Superhot, the rules are straightforward – I fight off enemies using whatever tools I can get my hands on, be it firearms or deadly throwing knives. The twist? My adversaries only act when I do, allowing me to pull off daring maneuvers without a single scratch on my person.
One great aspect of the game is that you can see your progress immediately upon completing a mission, allowing you to play out your own action movie in real-time. The stylish presentation might take some getting used to, but games like Superhot and its sequel, Mind Control Delete, have earned their popularity for good reason.

The game earns its spot on the list due to the exceptionally chic combat, where you can execute an array of ‘gun-kata’ inspired maneuvers while defeating countless hordes of faceless minions.
Although I found the game “Arrest of a Stone Buddha” enjoyable, it has received some unfavorable reviews due to its lack of detailed explanations. To fully appreciate it, I suggest checking out some gameplay footage prior to playing it yourself.

Caution is suggested, but in the game “Hotline Miami“, precision is rewarded. You’ll find that there are usually several methods to overcome challenges. The kill animations are quite gruesome, although you can’t typically kill enemies with a pencil.

This mechanism remains as fresh and exciting as ever, regardless of playtime duration. The gunplay is intense and gratifying to experience. Personally, I find Max Payne 2 to be my preferred game in the series, but since Max Payne 3 is more recent, I’d recommend giving it a try.

On The Wrong Side Of The Law
Speaking of the Splinter Cell series, it’s always a bit melancholic for me to discuss these games because it’s been more than 15 years since we last saw a new installment. But let’s move on from that nostalgic moment and delve into Splinter Cell: Conviction instead.
In the game Conviction, Sam Fisher finds himself as a fugitive. This status, however, loosens the usual restrictions, allowing for an emphasis on stealth while also showcasing some of the most fashionable yet ruthless physical takedowns I’ve experienced in gaming.
The Mark and Execute feature enables impressive takedowns against numerous opponents, and the game boasted an attractive cooperative mode upon its release as well.
