Okay, so as a huge Far Cry fan, I’ve gotta admit the first game’s story isn’t the strongest, and honestly, the newest one isn’t much better either! But everything in between – if you don’t count the Instincts versions – has a really solid story, and I’m still hooked on them even now. Let’s take a look back at all the amazing villains, oppressive leaders, and rebellions that make Far Cry so great!
For several weeks, a frustrating glitch in ARC Raiders was giving players an unfair edge. It wasn’t a complex exploit – players could simply use an invisible zipline in one spot on the map to pass through the ceiling and move around undetected. This was a serious problem, especially because ARC Raiders is an “extraction shooter.” That means when your character dies, you lose all the items you’ve collected, making it incredibly frustrating to be eliminated by someone exploiting the glitch. While similar issues in games like Battlefield 6 or Call of Duty would be annoying, the stakes were much higher in ARC Raiders due to the potential for lost progress.
Both Qwilfish forms are included in the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but only the Hisuian form can evolve into Overqwil. This evolution doesn’t happen through typical methods like leveling up, using an item, or increasing friendship. Instead, it requires a special, unique process.

At The Game Awards, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was the biggest winner, taking home nine awards. The game was nominated for twelve awards total, including three for Best Performance. Sandfall Interactive’s first game also won the prestigious Game of the Year award. Other games competing for that top prize were Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hades 2, and Death Stranding 2.
