Recently, Warhorse Studios introduced a tougher play experience for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players, known as the Hardcore mode. Interestingly, both the original game and its sequel initially lacked adjustable difficulty settings when launched, with the Hardcore option being added later on. Accompanying this new difficulty setting in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are two fresh achievements, “Hardcore Henry II” and “Against All Odds.” The former, granting only ten Gamerscore, is given for successfully completing the game on Hardcore mode, while the latter, worth 90 Gamerscore, challenges players to finish the game on Hardcore with all the game’s detrimental traits activated. However, Xbox gamers have run into issues with these achievements after meeting their demanding conditions, as they appear to be bugged.

It appears that the troublesome Hardcore-related achievements in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which used to be bugged, have now been successfully addressed in the latest Brushes with Death DLC update. As per TrueAchievements, following the release of Patch 1.3 for the game, the statistics for both achievements started updating, indicating that players are now capable of earning them. This seems to be a discreet modification, as Warhorse Studios did not explicitly mention the fixes in the patch’s official notes.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Hardcore Difficulty Achievements Have Been Fixed

For players who met the achievement criteria before the recent update, there’s no need to fret. They just need to reload their Hardcore game saves following the installation of the patch, and the achievements should automatically unlock.
