Invincible: 10 Strongest Viltrumites in Season 4, Ranked

Season 4 of Invincible is proving to be the most action-packed and brutal season so far. By Episode 7, the Viltrumite War has reached a devastating climax, culminating in the destruction of Planet Viltrum itself, thanks to the combined efforts of Space Racer, Mark, Nolan, and Thaedus. Nolan estimates that only around 40 Viltrumites remain, and the actual number is likely even lower after the fierce battle outside their home planet.

In the world of Invincible, the Viltrumites are incredibly powerful warriors – each one is a force to be reckoned with. Mark, the main character, is also getting stronger with every battle and can surpass his own limits when necessary. However, even with his progress, he’s still far from being able to defeat the strongest Viltrumite, Thragg, and will need to improve significantly before any future rematch.

10. Oliver is Still Too Young to Live Up To His Full Potential

Oliver is still new to using his powers. While he’s strong enough on Earth to handle tough opponents and even fight major criminals (though he usually needs Mark’s assistance), space is a completely different story – he’s just trying to survive. Oliver shows promise, but he’s far weaker than the Viltrumites, to the point where Thragg doesn’t even see him as one of their kind.

Oliver hasn’t demonstrated significant fighting skills against Conquest in their two encounters, and he was quickly defeated during the Viltrumite War when Thragg tore off his arm and shattered his jaw. While Oliver is expected to become more powerful in future seasons, his insufficient training and reckless behavior will likely prevent him from reaching the same level as other Viltrumites, even with his natural strength as Nolan’s son.

9. Lucan Was Disemboweled By Nolan On Thraxa

Lucan is a formidable fighter and deeply loyal to Thragg, but among named Viltrumites, he’s only significantly stronger than Thula. When he first appeared in Season 2, Lucan was more powerful than Mark, even though Mark had already proven capable of defeating Thula.

Lucan proved to be a capable fighter, holding his own against Nolan before a brutal injury on Thraxa. He’s fully recovered and remains a strong opponent whenever he battles. Notably, he survived the devastating Viltrumite War – a feat few achieved – and even fought Rognarr without losing his life, though he sustained a serious arm injury.

8. Kregg is One of Thragg’s Strongest Loyalists

Thaedus dismisses Kregg as weak, but that’s far from the truth. General Kregg is actually one of the most powerful Viltrumites alive, and he essentially acts as Thragg’s second-in-command. In a society that values strength above everything, Kregg’s position as a warrior proves his incredible power – he’s easily among the strongest of Thragg’s followers.

Before the Purge, Kregg worked for Argall, as shown in Invincible Season 4, Episode 7. Considering Mark recently defeated Conquest, it’s probable that Invincible is now more powerful than Kregg. However, Kregg did manage to survive a brutal battle near Viltrum, fighting alongside Thragg’s strongest warriors.

7. Mark May Be Invincible, But He’s Outclassed By Stronger Viltrumites

Mark’s most impressive quality is his incredible determination. He consistently perseveres, even when facing immense challenges. Fueled by adrenaline, he managed to defeat Conquest, a much more powerful opponent. With each fight, Mark becomes stronger, and his training has made him one of the most powerful Viltrumites. However, he’s still developing and hasn’t yet reached the level of his father or Thragg.

Despite his incredible power, Mark isn’t truly invincible, as shown by his struggle against Thragg during the Viltrumite War. However, he learns from every loss. He improved rapidly, going from needing help from Eve to defeat Conquest, to ultimately defeating Conquest on his own. Given enough time, he’s expected to become Thragg’s equal. More than anyone else, Mark has the potential to be the most powerful Viltrumite in existence.

6. Anissa is an Absolute Monster

Those familiar with the Invincible comics understand that Anissa is an incredibly powerful and dangerous Viltrumite. In fact, Mark only survived his encounter with her in Season 2 because she chose to spare him – she easily could have defeated him at that moment.

During the war with the Viltrumites, Anissa proved to be a formidable opponent for Nolan, holding her own in a fight. Although she probably wouldn’t have won ultimately, she was surprisingly close in strength to him. Currently, among Viltrumites who are still alive, Anissa is the third strongest. This means Mark is in serious trouble when he inevitably battles her again.

5. Argall Ruled Viltrum With an Iron Fist

Before the story begins, Argall ruled the Viltrum Empire. Though we never see him fight in either the comics or the TV show, as the leader of a race obsessed with strength, he was almost certainly incredibly powerful. This is further supported by his willingness to destroy weaker civilizations to prove Viltrum’s superiority.

Many people criticize Argall because he was killed by Thaedus, known as “The Betrayer.” In Season 4, Episode 7 of Invincible, we see that Thaedus ambushed Argall, though the actual fight isn’t shown. While Argall might have fought back, Thaedus appeared unharmed even in his old age, suggesting he easily defeated Argall.

4. Thaedus Was Strong Enough to Kill Argall

Even though Thaedus had to use a surprise attack to defeat Argall, simply overcoming the Emperor of Vitrum was an incredible accomplishment. Despite his age, Thaedus remained remarkably strong, easily handling multiple of Thragg’s followers without much effort.

Thaedus played a key role, alongside Nolan, in destroying the planet Viltrum. He was one of the Coalition of Planets’ most powerful warriors when he died, possibly second only to Omni-Man and Battle Beast. Despite his incredible strength, however, Thragg easily defeated him, tearing him apart with little effort.

3. Omni-Man is One of the Strongest Characters in the Invincible Universe

Nolan is highly respected among the Viltrumites. Though he had the power to easily conquer Earth as Omni-Man, he chose to live a peaceful life with his family, Debbie and Mark, for as long as possible. He’s incredibly strong – one of the most powerful characters in the entire story – and has proven himself in battle, defeating even other Viltrumites and surviving fights against multiple Rognarrs.

While incredibly powerful, Omni-Man isn’t invincible. He has weaknesses, as demonstrated by Anissa giving him a tough battle during the Viltrumite War and Thragg easily defeating him. Thragg inflicted damage on Nolan far worse than anything Mark experienced on Earth, happening outside what remained of the Viltrum Empire. Even surviving the horrific injury of having his insides torn out was an unbelievable feat.

2. Conquest Could Kill Anyone If He Took His Fights Seriously

Conquest is the second most powerful Viltrumite in the Invincible universe, and he thrives on difficult fights. He’s incredibly strong and could defeat almost any opponent instantly if he were focused and stable. However, Conquest prefers to prolong battles and enjoys toying with his enemies, which he demonstrated in both of his fights against Mark.

Conquest had the strength to defeat Mark in their first encounter, but he prefers to prolong a challenging fight. However, Conquest isn’t a very tactical fighter; he relies on sheer force. Had he focused on quickly cutting Mark down instead of attempting a gruesome attack on his insides, Conquest might have won their second battle. He definitely possessed the power to do so.

1. Thragg is the Strongest Viltrum Who’s Ever Lived

Thragg is a truly terrifying opponent. Throughout the season, hints have built up to his incredible power, and the Viltrumite War finally revealed what he’s capable of. No one in the Coalition could even make a dent in him. He fights with an incredible speed and resilience, reminiscent of characters from Dragon Ball Z. He either effortlessly dodges attacks or simply shrugs off anything that connects.

Let me tell you, Thragg is a force of nature. Within minutes, he completely dismantled Oliver, brutally took down Nolan, and just beat Mark into submission. Seriously, the guy’s power level is off the charts – even just preparing to punch sends shockwaves that pulled Nolan right into the attack! We’re talking hits that send people flying into orbit! Everyone agrees he’s the strongest Viltrumite ever, and while Mark has incredible potential, he’s still a long way from matching Thragg’s sheer, effortless power. It’s going to take a lot of training and experience before Mark can even come close to pulling off feats like that.
