Although the upcoming version of Mario Kart, known as Mario Kart World, boasts a vast array of characters that promise more kart racers than ever, it’s unfortunate that some beloved Mario-related characters have not been included in the races, creating a gap in the roster. The impressive lineup for Mario Kart World could benefit from the inclusion of some classic and lesser-known characters.

It’d be a blast if some entertaining Mario game characters could obtain their karting permits and race around famous tracks alongside other well-known figures. Although there’s no official confirmation about the characters mentioned below, it would be cool to see them included in updates for Mario Kart World.

7. Diddy Kong

Equipped with a red cap and a tail to hold the steering wheel, Diddy Kong deserves to celebrate each feat he accomplishes.

It’s surprising that Diddy Kong isn’t initially considered as a strong candidate, given that he belongs to Nintendo. Although Diddy Kong was originally developed by Rare, he is still identified with Nintendo, particularly Donkey Kong. It’s unfortunate not to see these two banana-loving characters team up again.

Couldn’t it be exciting to finally give them a kart of their own to commandeer?

If less commonly used characters are given their own karts, it would be enjoyable to witness a Luma riding one. With hues spanning the entire rainbow, the Lumas could offer players the same level of detail and vibrancy as the Yoshi and Shy Guy variants seen in Mario Kart 8, although with a more adorable appearance.

However, isn’t it high time for this pesky power-up to evolve and showcase its true potential?

It’s thrilling to have the chance to fling green projectiles as a vengeful Bloopers in the game, but it’s equally enjoyable to play as a friendly squid who prefers racing over transforming into a ruthless power-up. With lesser-known Mario characters and adversaries taking on significant roles, Blooper deserves the chance to join their ranks.

Cranky Kong could prove to be an entertaining racer, even though he was initially developed by Rare, he remains a Nintendo character who deserves recognition.
