Recent XRP withdrawals from Binance

Anonymous large-scale investors, referred to as whales, have been consistently withdrawing significant amounts of XRP from Binance. The transaction sizes are comparable to those previously reported.

As an analyst examining data from Bithomp, a cryptocurrency explorer specialized in XRP transactions, I’ve uncovered some intriguing details. The information provided reveals that certain anonymous wallets associated with these transfers are connected to Binance. Consequently, the recent string of large-scale XRP transfers can be interpreted as internal transactions orchestrated by the leading global crypto trading platform itself.

30.5 million XRP headed for Bitstamp

Whale Alert also reported that a hefty transaction carrying 30,350,000 XRP was made to large digital currency exchange Bitstamp. The transfer was made by an unknown wallet and was worth $15,920,021 in fiat at the time it was made.

Based on Bitstomp’s analysis, the transaction originated from a wallet associated with Ripple Labs, a prominent player in the industry. Notably, Bitstamp is one of several crypto exchanges partnering with Ripple for its payment solution, formerly called On-Demand Liquidity (ODL), until its name change in early autumn last year.

I analyze systems and technologies, including the one now known as Ripple Payments. This platform operates through RippleNet and employs XRP to facilitate swift and affordable transactions. You can access and utilize this functionality via trusted cryptocurrency exchanges.
