About One Piece Day 2025
It’ll Be the Second One Piece Day Held This Year
In the latest sneak peek for Luffy’s appearance in the Elbaf Arc, his outfit bears a striking resemblance to the one he wore during the Egghead Arc last year. The Elbaf Arc is the second story arc within the Final Saga of One Piece, and it picks up right after the Egghead Arc. In the manga version, the Elbaf Arc started with chapter 1126, which was published on September 16, 2024 in Japan. The upcoming One Piece event in 2025 marks the second occasion for such an event; the first One Piece Day outside of Japan took place in Dallas, Texas, in March, celebrating the launch of the One Piece Trading-Card Game in 2022.
2024 One Piece Day is expected to be grand due to it marking the anime series’ 25th anniversary and the manga’s 27th. Tickets for the event will become available on June 2, with the first round of advance sales already open through a lottery system. The celebration kicks off at 5:00 PM JST on August 8 and ends at 8:00 PM, while the second day begins at 9:00 AM JST and continues until 6:00 PM.
One Piece is available to watch on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
