Today, July 16, FromSoftware unveiled an update for Elden Ring: Nightreign, which enhances and corrects various aspects in the multiplayer version of the game.
For console users, you’ll notice an update labeled as “Elden Ring Nightreign Update Version 1.001.005.” This is another round of adjustments focused primarily on fixing issues.
Alongside that, the return of the first three Everdark Sovereigns is also continuing this week.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the battle against the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest would get stuck and prevent players from completing the fight.
- Fixed a bug where the boss could appear outside the battle area during the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest fight.
On the bottom right corner of the Title Screen, you’ll find the version number for this update displayed like so:

Alongsiode the changes, the three Everdark Sovereigns scheduled return will happen as follows:
- July 10 to July 17 – Gaping Jaw & Darkdrift Knight
- July 17 to July 24 – Sentient Pest, Darkdrift Knight
- July 24 to July 31 – Gaping Jaw, Sentient Pest
As an eager fan, I can’t help but wonder if this upcoming update will unveil more secret treasures. Frankly, I wouldn’t be shocked if it did! Should there be new content hidden away, just wait and see as the community digs it up within a few days.
