You can find the Sanctum of Penitence in the Crimson Desert, southeast of Hernand City. It’s located just past the Goldleaf Trading Post and near the Sanctum of Temperance. To get there, travel to the closest fast travel point and then ride your horse towards the Sanctum.

While the first group of Pokémon from Generation 8 arrived in Pokémon GO in 2020, some Pokémon from the Galar region are still not available. The developers are consistently adding these Pokémon through special events, like the recent Bug Out event in March which introduced Blipbug and its evolutions. Before that, the game hadn’t added any new Gen 8 Pokémon since December 2025. However, players likely won’t have to wait much longer for the next Galar Pokémon, as a popular snake-like Pokémon has been announced to be coming soon.

I decided to revisit some older games I wasn’t sure I’d fully understood when I first played them. These games were all quite controversial, and I had strong opinions after my initial playthroughs. Going back to them now, I can better appreciate different viewpoints. While I didn’t completely change my mind on everything (though I did on a few!), I now understand why people still have such differing opinions about these games.

Nintendo has announced that Pokemon Champions will launch on Nintendo Switch on April 7, 2026, with a mobile version for iOS and Android coming afterward. The game is free to start and centers around Pokemon battles in an arena setting. Players can compete in ranked, casual, or private matches, and will eventually be able to battle each other across different devices once the mobile version is available. Battles will be both one-on-one and team-based, featuring squads of six Pokemon.

Since its release, Hello Neighbor has received very mixed reactions. While it was highly anticipated in 2017, many players were disappointed by its unpredictable enemy behavior, lack of tension, and a storyline that didn’t fully capture their interest. The game follows a teen who breaks into his neighbor’s house to uncover the truth behind his neighbor’s daughter’s death. Critics haven’t been impressed – it has an 8% recommendation rate on OpenCritic – and general player reception has been similarly lukewarm, except on Steam, where it surprisingly enjoys an 83% satisfaction rate.

I recently read a really interesting interview with WonYoung Lee, the game director for CookieRun: OvenSmash. They were talking about how tough it was to take the CookieRun universe – which has always been about collecting and adventure – and turn it into a fast-paced, real-time PvP game. Apparently, the team is trying to balance keeping the fun, lighthearted CookieRun vibe we all love with the quick, intense action you expect from a competitive PvP game. It sounds like they’re focusing on short, exciting matches and different modes to make it work, and it’s cool to hear how they’re approaching it all.

Pearl Abyss’s new RPG, Crimson Desert, has quickly gained popularity. It created a lot of excitement online and launched with a strong number of players. Critics have generally given it positive reviews, with an average score of 79 on OpenCritic. While it might not have reached the extremely high scores some predicted, Crimson Desert is a well-made game that should please fans of open-world RPGs.
