Gaming is incredibly diverse these days, with a huge number of games offering all sorts of ways to play. I’ve especially enjoyed games where I can explore, discover hidden secrets, or simply lose myself in a well-developed world, often while playing with friends.
The highly anticipated racing game, Forza Horizon 6, is launching on PC and Xbox Series X/S on May 19th. Following the huge success of Forza Horizon 5 – which came to PlayStation 5 last April and quickly gained a following – Forza Horizon 6 will also be available on PS5, but later in 2024. PlayStation fans won’t have to wait as long for this new installment compared to the previous game’s release on their platform, and early reactions to Forza Horizon 6 have been very good.
Released in the mid-2000s, Garry’s Mod was incredibly innovative, giving players the tools to create their own games. This led to a huge variety of amazing creations, from adventure games and multiplayer shooters to animated films, often using characters from classic Valve games. It’s still available on Steam for around $10 and remains fun to play. However, Garry’s Mod is starting to show its age, as it was built on an older engine (Source) that has been superseded by the more modern Source 2, used in games like CS:GO 2 and Deadlock. Fortunately, Garry Newman, the creator of Garry’s Mod, is now working on s&box (pronounced “sandbox”), which represents the next evolution of this creative platform.
Although more effort is needed to save classic anime from the 2000s, streaming services like Netflix have done a fantastic job bringing back beloved series that defined the decade for anime fans. Within Netflix’s extensive library, certain shows truly capture what made the 2000s so memorable. These are essential viewing for newer fans discovering them for the first time, or for those wanting to relive the highlights of that era.
Among current fantasy anime, Wistoria: Wand and Sword stands out due to its beautiful animation, which enhances both action-packed battles and more intimate, emotional scenes featuring the character Will Serfort. As the spring 2026 season starts, it’s already apparent that Season 2 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword will continue to deliver visuals that are as good as, or even better than, the first season.

Over time, Naruto Uzumaki became much more skilled at using Sage Mode. I haven’t received any payment or sponsorship related to this game, but I’ve played it for over a hundred hours, so I’m definitely biased. Despite that, I think the reasons people dislike Marathon are pretty obvious: there are many different issues. Some of these criticisms are fair, others aren’t, but unfortunately, none of them change the fact that Marathon is a genuinely great game, objectively speaking. These issues unfairly harm a game that deserves better.
