The Winter Wonderland event is happening now in Overwatch 2! Enjoy returning favorites like Mei’s Snowball Offensive, Yeti Hunt, and Freezethaw Elimination, plus the Mischief & Magic prop hunt. There are also three different reward tracks to unlock goodies. The event runs until January 8th, giving players a little over two weeks to participate and earn rewards.

I feel like some amazing JRPGs never got the attention they deserved, maybe because they were on less popular consoles, or just came out at the wrong time alongside huge releases. It’s a shame, because they’re really good! Finding them now might take some effort, as they aren’t always easy to come by, but I think they’re worth seeking out.

Embark Studios’ new shooter, ARC Raiders, quickly became a popular game in 2025. It combines player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) gameplay, which has sometimes caused disagreements among players. Soon after launch, videos emerged showing players working together to defeat the game’s enemies. ARC Raiders gained a reputation for its cooperative spirit, with solo players often signaling they were friendly and forming temporary teams to tackle difficult challenges. Many videos showcase players defeating huge enemies, sharing the rewards, and successfully escaping missions. However, the game also features moments of backstabbing, where players who seemed friendly suddenly turn on their allies during the escape. Some players are only interested in fighting others and will attack anyone, even those trying to cooperate. This unpredictable mix of cooperation and conflict is a core part of the ARC Raiders experience, and one streamer has recently gained attention for consistently being hostile to other players.
