In the latest skirmish that took place in the Land of Wind, it turns out that the newly formed Team 7, joined by two Sand ninjas, were victorious against Matsuri, Ryu, and managed to secure their thorn soul bulbs as well. These bulbs are currently the only known method for restoring affected individuals to their normal state, which means we may see Moegi and Shinki return to normal in an upcoming chapter or sometime soon.

In a brief glimpse of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 25, viewers notice Konohamaru holding Matsuri’s thorn soul bulb near Moegi. In the very same panel, Konohamaru delicately places the thorn soul bulb into a tree with the hope that it could save Moegi. If this attempt is successful, spectators may witness Shinki’s return as well. Simultaneously, viewers might also gain clarity regarding Gaara’s current situation.
