Mystical fruits called Devil Fruits offer incredible powers to those who consume them. First introduced in the series One Piece, there are many more yet to be discovered. These fruits can fall under three distinct categories: Paramecia, Logia, or Zoan type of Devil Fruit. Over time, Oda has unveiled numerous formidable fruits with immense potential, often viewed as a threat by some.
Among all Devil Fruits, those classified as Logia possess the strongest capabilities. These fruits grant their users the power to transform into their specific element, making them resistant to virtually all forms of attack, with the exception of those powered by Haki. Regarding Logia Devil Fruits, the Yami Yami no Mi stands out significantly, rendering other fruits seem insignificant in comparison. This isn’t an understatement, as it boasts some of the most formidable abilities, posing a considerable threat.
Blackbeard Holds The Power Of Yami Yami no Mi
It Has Unique Powers
Blackbeard possesses the Yami Yami no Mi, a unique and fearsome Devil Fruit that he acquired by killing Thatch, the Fourth Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. This fruit’s power nullifies all other Devil Fruit abilities and attacks when its darkness comes into contact with them. Moreover, anyone Blackbeard touches physically loses their Devil Fruit ability as long as they remain in contact. During Ace’s fight against him and later when Luffy, who has a rubber body, sustained damage after being slammed onto the floor by Blackbeard, this ability was revealed. Although it’s incredibly powerful, it does have its drawbacks. Most notably, the user cannot make their body intangible like other Logia Devil Fruit users. Another significant weakness is that they can still be harmed by non-Haki attacks, making it particularly challenging to face strong opponents in battle.
I witnessed a remarkable display of resilience from Blackbeard, as he proved himself to be more robust and formidable compared to most. He withstood assaults from Ace’s powerful blows and confronted Whitebeard’s quake head-on, sustaining minimal harm. However, his Devil Fruit seems insignificant when pitted against another, said to be even more devastating than the Yami Yami no Mi – the Magu Magu no Mi, which is controlled by none other than Fleet Admiral Akainu himself.
Magu Magu no Mi Is The Strongest Of The Logia Devil Fruits
Power To Destroy Anything

Among all Devil Fruits, particularly the Logia type, the Magma-Magu-Magu Fruit, or Magu Magu no Mi, is known for its immense offensive power, as shown in the Vivre Card. This fruit grants Akainu the ability to generate and manipulate magma, a highly destructive substance that can drastically shift the course of battles. According to the Vivre Card, the Magu Magu no Mi boasts the highest offensive potential among all Devil Fruits.
During the Marineford War, Akainu’s actions demonstrated his significant threat to the Whitebeard Pirates and their allies. His relentless attacks inflicted such heavy damage that the Whitebeard Pirates were on the brink of annihilation. However, with the guidance of their captain, they managed to endure. The impressive power of this Devil Fruit was evident as it played a crucial role in Sengoku’s strategy during the Paramount War, contributing significantly to his victory.
The Magu Magu no Mi Has The Greatest Offense
Caused Major Destruction Of Marineford

I once bore witness during the Marineford War to the formidable offensive prowess of the Magu Magu no Mi, as Admiral Akainu unleashed his initial ability, Ryusei Kazan – a devastating spatial assault that sweeps up all within its path. Torrential fists hail down upon adversaries, leaving behind a trail of destruction on an immense scale, capable of obliterating even the colossal Moby Dick with a solitary blow. This power is nothing short of awe-inspiring to behold, and matters not improve in a typical combat scenario, as the fruit’s abilities amplify significantly. Witnessing Akainu wield the Magu Magu no Mi against the mighty Whitebeard was an unforgettable spectacle indeed.
Even with a single strike, he reduced half of Whitebeard’s face to melted wax and managed to outmaneuver Ace’s Devil Fruit power. He relentlessly chased Luffy across Marineford, necessitating the combined efforts of the Whitebeard Pirates’ division commanders, Jinbe, and allies to prevent him from killing Luffy. In essence, he was an unstoppable force, and this extraordinary prowess could be attributed to his Devil Fruit, the Magu Magu no Mi. This remarkable fruit has demonstrated its immense power, ranking amongst the strongest in the entire series, ultimately earning him the position of Fleet Admiral.
