Rising” brings a fresh spin to Bungie’s popular sci-fi shooter series, celebrated for over a decade. Debuting on mobile devices, developer NetEase has revamped the game’s core elements, offering a mobile-friendly experience with gacha mechanics and bite-sized gameplay sessions ideal for commuting. If you aim to acquire one of the top-tier characters from your initial draw, understanding how to reroll in “Destiny Rising” is crucial, allowing you to continually try until you secure a coveted S-tier character.
How to Reroll in Destiny Rising
As a devoted fan, I can share that before you can attempt rerolling in Destiny Rising, it is essential to progress through Chapters 1 and 2 first. This journey takes you from the beginning tutorial missions up until you encounter ‘Assemble a Fireteam.’ You’ll recognize this mission as the point when your pre-registration rewards magically appear in your inbox as well.
You’ll clearly notice when you reach the ‘reroll’ stage because a tutorial guide will walk you through the gacha system, providing you with an automatic pull. This happens after successfully completing the preceding mission, right at the recruitment desk.
This is when you’ll gain access to character draws and can start using your in-game funds. With the pre-registration bonuses, you should have enough attempts to obtain a Mythical character, or at least boost your odds substantially due to the Destiny: Rising‘s Pity system.

If you’ve spent all your currency on character pulls without getting the one you wanted, you can choose to start fresh by navigating to Settings. Click on the small gear icon located in the bottom right corner of the screen. In the menu that opens, select ‘Player Center’ at the top, and then opt for ‘Account Deletion’ within the displayed options. This will allow you to reroll your character.
This action will erase all your in-game advancements, effectively resetting the game back to its initial state. Consequently, you’d have to go through the opening 20-30 minutes of the game once more.
Is it Worth Rerolling in Destiny: Rising?

It doesn’t seem beneficial to start over in the game Destiny: Rising, despite your tolerance for the time investment. The character Gwynn from the standard banner may not offer enough value for the effort you put in. Gacha games often introduce strong characters at the beginning that players want desperately, but newer characters in upcoming banners could be equally or even more powerful to motivate players to spend in-game money on draws.
In the end, the choice is yours. If you’re really keen on acquiring Gwynn and are prepared to repeatedly play the game with the hope of getting her, then by all means, proceed. However, please bear in mind that the initial thrill of obtaining a 5-star character might diminish as new characters enter the scene.
