How to Destroy the Jamming Device in Unpaid Tabs
Once you’ve beaten the Rippers in Queen’s Cradle with Zane, you’ll find a DAHL machine. Use your grapple hook to pull off the vent on the side. This lets you hack the jamming device, but it takes some force! To destroy the device, go around to the south side of the machine and find a grapple point. Then, climb onto the platform above it and perform a ground pound – press and hold Circle (PlayStation), B (Xbox), or Ctrl (PC) while in the air – on the raised circle on top of the device. Hitting the circle will destroy the device and solve the puzzle.

What Happens if You Don’t Save Quent?
Okay, so after you beat Driller Hole in the Ripping Room, things get intense! You’ve only got 60 seconds to save Quent, or he’s a goner. To do it, you need to quickly use your grapple hook on the five levers circling the main platform – seriously, look *up* and follow the platform around to get them all. Then, there are three pipes connected to a pillar that you need to shoot and destroy. Once you’ve pulled all five levers *and* destroyed those three pipes, you’ve saved Quent from turning into a Ripper! It’s a bit of a rush, but totally doable.
If you don’t rescue Quent within 60 seconds, the machine building the Ripper will kill him, causing Zane to become angry and upset. While saving or letting Quent die doesn’t change your rewards, it’s better to save him – he’s a good person who doesn’t deserve to die. If he does die, Zane will just have some emotional dialogue, but it won’t affect anything else in the game.
