On October 1st, Xbox Game Pass Core will add three new games: *Cities: Skylines – Remastered*, *Disney Dreamlight Valley*, and *Warhammer 40,000: Darktide*. Microsoft launched Xbox Game Pass Core – its most affordable subscription level – in 2023, replacing the older Xbox Live Gold. While some gamers missed Xbox Live Gold, the change ultimately gave subscribers more choices.
Game Pass Core gives subscribers access to a collection of at least 25 games that stay available for a longer time than games in other Game Pass plans. The library features popular titles across many different genres, so there’s something for every type of gamer. Some of the games currently included are *Fallout 4* and *76*, *Doom Eternal*, *Dishonored 2*, *Tunic*, *Stardew Valley*, and *Elder Scrolls Online*.
3 More Titles Are Coming to Xbox Game Pass Core

Players can also expand their cities with a variety of downloadable content, including major expansions, cosmetic items, and new building options. *Cities: Skylines – Remastered* currently has a 4-star rating on Xbox.
Released in 2023 on several platforms, *Disney Dreamlight Valley* by Gameloft quickly became a hit, earning awards for its game design and being named Indie Game of the Year. The game takes place in a magical valley filled with beloved characters from Disney and Pixar movies. Players can expand their experience with downloadable content like “The Storybook Vale,” which introduces a new area to explore, building style, animal friend, and clothing options. The game currently holds a 4-star rating on Xbox.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has received mixed reviews, currently holding a 3.5-star rating on Xbox and a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam. Originally launched on PC in 2022, it became available on Xbox in 2023. Developed and published by Fatshark, Darktide is often seen as a follow-up to their successful Vermintide series and is a valuable game to have with Xbox Game Pass Core.
