The trailers for the upcoming *The Sims 4* Adventure Awaits pack focused on gameplay, but didn’t reveal much about the new world, Gibbi Point, or its residents. To address this, the developers held a question-and-answer session on Discord. During the Q&A, fans discovered that Gibbi Point will feature four festivals, that the pack’s featured Sim, Pruella, is a trans woman who Sims can romance, and that the world’s design draws inspiration from Australia, New Zealand, and American national parks.
We already knew The Sims 4 was getting custom venues, but the recent Q&A really filled in the details. It’s a big change from how things usually work – normally, you’d have to *own* a lot to work there or make money from it. But with the new Adventure Awaits pack, it looks like you won’t need to! The Q&A confirmed that you can host events at getaways even if you don’t actually own them, which is awesome!
