Pokemon GO Reveals New Dynamax Debut in October 2025 Event

Pokémon GO announced that Dynamax Duraludon will appear in a new event beginning September 30th. Following years of requests, Pokémon GO recently added the popular Dynamax and Gigantamax forms during the Max Out Season, giving players even more Pokémon to catch and collect.

Duraludon is a Pokemon inspired by dinosaurs, with a tough body made of metal. It evolves into Archaludon when exposed to a Metal Alloy – Archaludon has a unique design, resembling a mix between a bridge and a stapler. Though several Pokemon from the eighth generation of games, including Falinks, Eternatus, and Morpeko, are available in *Pokemon GO*, Duraludon was missing – until now! It’s finally being added to the game.

Upcoming Pokemon GO Event Adding Dynamax Duraludon

The Steel Skyline event is coming to *Pokémon GO* on September 30th at 10 am and will run until October 7th at 8 pm local time. This event introduces Dynamax Duraludon to the game, which players can battle in four-star Max Battles – and it might even appear as a rare, Shiny Pokémon! You’ll also have the chance to battle Dynamax Drilbur and Rookidee in one-star Max Battles, and Dynamax Beldum in three-star Max Battles.

The Steel Skyline event in *Pokémon GO* introduces Global Challenges, where players worldwide team up to complete Field Research. Completing these challenges unlocks three tiers of rewards for everyone. During the event, you’ll find more of certain Pokémon, including Togedemaru, Galarian Meowth, and Skarmory. New Field Research tasks and a free Timed Research will also be available. For a small fee ($1.99), players can purchase special Research in the game that includes Max Particles and a chance to encounter Dynamax Duraludon. Additionally, the *Pokémon GO* Web Store will offer an Ultra Box for $1.99, which includes an event ticket and three Golden Razz Berries.

Even though some of September’s events in *Pokemon GO* have already happened, there’s still plenty more to come! From September 20th to 21st, players can battle Shadow Groudon in raids, and for the first time, a Shiny Shadow Groudon will be available. Then, on September 23rd and 28th, look forward to the debuts of Dudunsparce and Mega Camerupt, respectively. The Pokemon for October’s Community Day has been announced, and Mega Metagross will join the game on October 4th.
