Even though fans are excited for the upcoming Halo: Campaign Evolved, many still play Halo Infinite. Released in 2021, it’s currently the newest major Halo title. The developers have consistently added updates over the years to keep the multiplayer experience engaging. While major updates were thought to have ended in late 2025 as the studio focused on future projects, a surprise new content drop has recently appeared.

Games like Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Super Mario Odyssey are still considered amazing for good reason. But what makes them stand out, and what other games deserve recognition? It was hard to narrow it down – there are so many great options – but these titles immediately sprang to mind.

The 2023 release of Lords of the Fallen was generally well-received, despite some initial bugs and balance problems that were fixed through updates, with the latest arriving in December 2025. Now, CI Games is already working on Lords of the Fallen 2, revealed at Gamescom 2025 and slated for release later this year. However, CI Games and its CEO, Marek Tyminski, have recently faced criticism. Tyminski has publicly expressed views against political correctness and has criticized former employees on social media. He’s also drawn controversy for his comments about the upcoming game featuring “attractive female characters,” as development on Lords of the Fallen 2 continues.

Although a specific date hasn’t been announced, the movie TONY is scheduled to come out in August 2026. It’s directed by Matt Johnson, who previously made the successful films Nirvanna: The Band – The Show – The Movie and Blackberry, so it’s in good hands. Dominic Sessa will play the main character, Anthony, and Emilia Jones will play his love interest, Nancy. The cast also includes Antonio Banderas, Dagmara Domińczyk, Rich Sommer, Stavros Halkias, and Leo Wodall. The film will be released two years after it was first announced in August 2024. While this summer promises exciting movies like The Odyssey, this new A24 film is expected to be a major contender.

Premiering in 2019, The Boys has quickly become a major player in the superhero genre, with five seasons and more related projects in development. The show presents a world where superheroes, known as ‘Supes,’ are often arrogant and dangerous. After a Supe tragically kills his girlfriend, Hughie joins forces with Billy Butcher to take down Vought International and ‘The Seven’ – the most powerful and famous Supes. The series gained huge attention for its intense violence and thrilling action, especially in its first season. While the initial buzz has calmed somewhat, the latest season is generating a lot of excitement as the conflict between Homelander and Butcher reaches its conclusion.
