So, I finally got around to playing Dying Light: The Beast, which came out last fall, and it’s awesome! You’re back as Kyle Crane, but this time he’s escaped and has some seriously cool new powers he uses to hunt down the people who held him captive. Honestly, everyone’s been loving it – the critics and the fans, myself included. They’ve really upped the brutality and Crane’s new abilities are a game changer. Techland seems committed to supporting the game with updates, which is great, because this could be something really special if they keep it up!

That might be correct, but it looks like we’ve finally figured out what he’s been doing since he retired – or at least, something along those lines.

Ranking the Star Wars trilogies is tricky because each one has strengths and weaknesses. While all the trilogies have good qualities, some are definitely stronger than others. Ultimately, not all Star Wars trilogies are equally well-made.

Blizzard often partners with other companies for special offers. For example, players of World of Warcraft can get a unique in-game pet, Gummi the Glow Wyrm, by buying certain Trolli candies. However, these promotions haven’t always been ideal – often they were only available in specific regions, had limited quantities, or required buying products that varied greatly in price, from cheap snacks to expensive gaming equipment.

The Winter 2026 anime season has finished, meaning some popular shows like Fire Force have concluded. While series such as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and Oshi no Ko are expected to return for future seasons, Fire Force has ended its run. It’s always difficult for an anime to provide a satisfying conclusion, but Fire Force largely succeeds in wrapping up its story well.

Despite the advancements, the PlayStation 2 felt like a natural continuation of the original PlayStation. It proved that many Japanese role-playing games could successfully transition to the new console generation, allowing established franchises to continue and new series to emerge – though not all of the new ones lasted through that console era.

Both Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic and its prequel, Magi: Adventure of Sinbad, are excellent but often overlooked shonen anime focused on magic. Magi stands out because of its well-developed magic system, which revolves around ‘Rukh’ – a source of power similar to mana that drives the world’s natural events.

If you’re feeling burnt out from endless running, fast traveling, or collecting items for countless characters, or if you just need a break from huge RPGs with overwhelming quest lists, these games offer a refreshing experience that also respects your time.
