Kentum will launch on consoles and PC (via Steam) on November 6th. Created by Tlon Industries and V Publishing, the game blends classic gameplay elements with a sharp wit, drawing inspiration from two popular games.
I’m really excited about this game called *Kentum*! If you’re anything like me, you probably love games like *Terraria* that let you explore and build, but also have some action. *Kentum* seems to take that idea and really run with it. It’s set way in the future, like 10,000 AD, after something has happened to Earth. You play as Kent, who wakes up after being frozen for 7,000 years to find he’s the last human! He starts with basically nothing but a stick and a robot buddy, and the goal is to rebuild humanity. It sounds like you’ll be gathering resources and building a base that reminds me a lot of *Satisfactory*, but with a big focus on using knowledge to survive. It’s coming out soon, and I can’t wait to check it out!
Kentum Challenges Players to Rebuild Humanity After a Nap That Lasted Too Long
Kentum is launching on November 6th for PlayStation 5, PC (through Steam), Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S. A new trailer offers a closer look at the game’s dystopian world, including the dramatic entry of Kent’s spacecraft into the atmosphere. Players will guide Kent as he gathers resources, builds a base around his landing module (which serves as the central hub), and explores vibrant environments filled with deserts, forests, unusual plants, and portals for quick travel.
In the game *Kentum*, players explore a world full of animals, plants, and minerals, working to survive and rebuild humanity after each death. Cloning ensures a new Kent always continues the task of building and expanding a base using gathered resources – turning things like bones and scrap metal into useful materials. Players use tools like hoverboards and grappling hooks to explore diverse environments, from ruined landscapes to lush forests, as they progress.
Kentum was revealed at The Game Awards 2024 during a Latin American Games showcase, and a demo became available in February 2025. Though the full game isn’t out yet, players can try the demo on Steam. It lets you experience the beginning of Kentum, including its starting area, various animals, and changing weather.
