Dracule Mihawk is generally considered the most powerful of the Shichibukai, largely because he’s known as the world’s greatest swordsman. He earned the nickname “Marine Hunter” by actively seeking out and defeating Marines. Years ago, Mihawk had a fierce rivalry with Shanks, and their battles were legendary, even causing tremors throughout the Grand Line. His strength and reputation eventually led the World Government to invite him to become one of the Shichibukai, an offer he accepted.

It’s unlikely Mihawk’s power stopped improving after he joined the group. He consistently looked for tough opponents to help him get even stronger. His mastery of his sword, Yoru, also grew with each fight, eventually allowing him to use it in countless different ways.

I’ve observed that Mihawk isn’t just an incredible swordsman; he also possesses both Armament and Observation Haki. Though he hasn’t really unleashed either in a full-on fight yet, it’s clear he has masterful control over both abilities. He’s also remarkably perceptive, constantly watching his opponents to anticipate what they’ll do next. Still, even with all his skills, I’d say Boa Hancock is actually the strongest of the Shichibukai, not Mihawk.

First appearing before the time skip in One Piece, she’s become a frequent character, and many fans have witnessed her incredible power. Hancock is skilled in all three forms of Haki, a testament to her Kuja clan’s legendary mastery of this ability.

Boa Hancock has a Devil Fruit called the Mero Mero no Mi, which lets her turn people to stone by appealing to their desire for her. Because she’s incredibly beautiful, most people can’t resist her, making them vulnerable to the fruit’s power. However, the fruit isn’t foolproof. People can avoid being petrified by distracting themselves with pain, as Momonga did. Alternatively, someone can simply ignore her beauty – Luffy demonstrated this during the Amazon Lily arc, proving immune to her charm and the Devil Fruit’s effects.

Despite defenses against it, Hancock’s Devil Fruit power still appears to work sometimes. She managed to turn part of a Pacifista’s body to stone with a kick to the head. Since Pacifistas are essentially mindless biological weapons, this suggests her power might even affect someone who isn’t charmed by her beauty.

Okay, so as a huge One Piece fan, let me tell you, everyone recognizes how incredibly strong Hancock is! Even powerhouses like Sengoku and Blackbeard have openly acknowledged her abilities. It’s a big deal when Blackbeard himself admits he only won against her because she wasn’t fully focused – that really says something! Honestly, all the evidence points to Hancock being a stronger fighter than Mihawk, in my opinion.
