While many characters in *One Piece* are famous for their powerful fighting skills and amazing abilities, there have been times when cleverness and strategy proved more effective than sheer strength.

Imu carefully orchestrated the establishment of the World Government, building a network of supporting groups to help it succeed. They’ve also learned to control the Abyss, a power that allows them to take over other people’s bodies. On top of that, Imu appears to have an answer for any power or ability used against them.

5. Franky

He Is A Genius Shipwright

Franky is the Straw Hat Pirates’ shipwright, meaning he’s responsible for maintaining their ship, the Thousand Sunny, to keep the crew sailing smoothly. Despite appearances, he’s actually a brilliant inventor and craftsman.

While the Straw Hats were separated, Franky traveled to Vegapunk’s hometown and spent time learning about the scientist’s inventions. Although Vegapunk’s work is incredibly complex, Franky was able to understand it well enough to enhance his own cyborg body. He also used this knowledge to make significant improvements to the Thousand Sunny, ensuring it can withstand any kind of weather or challenge.

4. Sanji

Has Rescued The Crew Multiple Times

Sanji has played a significant role in the Elbaf arc. As one of the Straw Hat Pirates’ three strongest fighters – known as the Monster Trio – he’s a powerful ally. Sanji mainly fights using his legs, and often uses them to rescue his friends when they’re in trouble.

Sanji is not only a skilled fighter, but also very clever. He’s repeatedly used his intelligence to defeat opponents like Crocodile and Enel, and he’s rescued more crewmates than everyone except Luffy. His intelligence will be crucial during the challenges in Elbaf, and fans hope he’ll prove his reputation once again.

3. Nico Robin

She Is Very Knowledgable About The Past

She knows a lot about history

Nico Robin is a seasoned member of the Straw Hat Pirates. She became part of the crew after Luffy’s victory over Crocodile and has been a dedicated member ever since. Robin’s Devil Fruit, the Hana Hana no Mi, gives her the ability to grow any part of her body – she can even create a complete duplicate of herself.

Robin’s deep understanding of history comes from her love of reading. She’s also very clever, allowing her to overcome opponents who are physically stronger. What makes Robin truly special is her ability to read Poneglyphs – an ancient language she learned as a child, demonstrating her incredible intelligence. This skill is essential, as without Robin, Luffy wouldn’t be able to reach his ultimate destination, Laugh Tale.

2. Nami

Capable Of Predicting The Weather

Nami guides the Straw Hat Pirates to new islands, making sure they travel safely. While she isn’t the strongest fighter, she’s the most intelligent member of the crew. Nami has always been skilled at understanding the weather, allowing her to travel on her own with ease. During a two-year training period, she studied in Weatheria and greatly improved her abilities, becoming able to accurately predict weather patterns and other natural events.

Nami is a talented mapmaker. Arlong was so impressed with her cartography skills that he recruited her to join his crew. Over time, Nami has only become more proficient, and she’s used her map-reading abilities to win many battles.

1. Lilith

One Of Vegapunk’s Satellites

Lilith is the last remaining artificial satellite created by Dr. Vegapunk. First appearing in the Egghead arc, she’s one of the many versions of Vegapunk and is known for being direct and incredibly intelligent. As a Vegapunk satellite, Lilith has access to all the data stored by the others, allowing her to solve problems and assist people. She can make even the most complex things seem easy.

Lilith joined the Straw Hat Pirates’ journey to Elbaf, but hasn’t had many opportunities to shine on screen yet. Even so, she’s clearly the most intelligent person on the island. Fans are hoping the author, Oda, will give her a bigger role as the story continues.
