According to a report from IGN’s Rebekah Valentine, Square Enix is laying off approximately 137 employees in the UK, and an unspecified number in the US.

At its heart, ARC Raiders is a game about interacting with other players. It’s a shared-world shooter where you’ll constantly encounter others while completing missions. You can choose to battle these players, or team up with them to survive. A key feature that makes ARC Raiders different is its use of nearby voice chat, which creates a more lively and engaging experience compared to many online shooters where players often prefer private party chat.

Thanks to a marketing partnership between Battlefield 6 and PlayStation, players on Sony consoles have received several perks. Recently, PlayStation 5 users received free in-game items that were available for purchase on other platforms. They also got an exclusive skin for the beta version of the game, and those with the Battlefield PRO battle pass received five extra tier skips simply for playing on PlayStation. This latest reward has caused some controversy, in part because it wasn’t clearly communicated to players.

In the game EU5, Manpower represents the pool of available soldiers you can recruit as Regulars – these are much stronger than basic Levies. You can find your Manpower count in the top right corner of the screen, next to the date. As the game moves beyond the medieval era, countries will increasingly rely on Regulars instead of Levies, making Manpower a crucial resource as time goes on.

Since launching on October 3rd, the newest Digimon game has become incredibly popular on Steam, reaching almost 85,000 players at its peak and earning nearly 5,000 “Very Positive” reviews. It’s also proven successful on the PS5, with 7,500 reviews on the PlayStation Store. Digimon Story: Time Stranger has already received two updates since its release.

When the game first came out, critics really liked it! Open Critic showed a lot of positive reviews, and everyone was saying it did a great job of continuing the legacy of the series and being genuinely fun to play. But honestly, as a fan, the reaction from the community since then has been… complicated. It’s definitely not been universally loved, and a lot of us have mixed feelings about it now.

I’m a big fan of shooting in The Outer Worlds 2, and honestly, I usually find guns way more useful than getting up close with melee weapons.
