One of the best parts of *Roblox: Grow a Garden* is collecting critters, and they’re a big reason players return each week for new content. These helpful companions simplify managing your farm. They can do everything from causing plants to change and hatching eggs, to giving you free seeds and useful tools like watering cans, reclaimers, and sprinklers – they’re always working to assist you!
Grow a Garden currently has over 150 different collectible pets, and it’s unlikely any player will have them all. That’s where the trading system helps – it allows players to exchange pets to get the ones they’re looking for. Some pets are more valuable than others, depending on how rare they are and how much demand there is for them. This guide will cover the trading value and popularity of every pet in Grow a Garden.
Grow a Garden’s Pet Trading Value List
Before update 1.17.0 in *Grow a Garden*, players traded creatures by sending gifts to each other. This often involved valuable pets and fruits worth a lot of in-game currency, but it was risky because there wasn’t a system to prevent scams. The introduction of trading tickets fixed this, providing a safe and reliable way to trade animals and items.
Here’s a guide to how much pets are worth in trades, based on what’s seen on the trading boards (pets with rare traits or higher stats generally fetch a better price). We’ve also included how popular each pet is, based on our experience playing the game.
The trading price is determined by the GaG system, but the value of sheckles can fluctuate and may sometimes be considerably higher.

Best Pet Trading Tips in Grow a Garden

- With sheckle value falling so much, trading pets is usually more worthwhile than trading for money, especially when it comes to high-rarity ones like Kitsune, Raccoon, Disco Bee, Fennec Fox, Butterfly, Spinosaurus, Panda, or any giant/mega pet.
- The devs set a base worth for each pet through ticket values, but with the economy being unstable (and players stacked with sexillions of sheckles), selling prices really depend on what someone’s willing to pay. Use the trading list above as a guide, but don’t be afraid to ask for more when it comes to top-tier pets.
- Don’t just look at how unique a pet is; demand is what really drives the price. For example, Dragonfly may be divine, but its value has gone down because fewer players want it.
- If you own a titanic or huge pet, its price will jump regardless of the normal version’s demand. For instance, a giant rainbow peacock can easily be traded for six Kitsunes, so don’t settle for less.
- Rely on the community. Many players figure out sheckle values through informal ways, like chatting in public servers or on Discord. If you’re unsure about a trade, get a second opinion from fellow players before locking it in.
