Digimon Story: Time Stranger is the newest role-playing game from Bandai Namco, starring popular Digimon like Agumon, Patamon, Gomamon, DemiDevimon, and a huge number of others. Time Stranger will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC through Steam on October 3, 2025. Because of different time zones, some players will be able to start playing on October 2, while others will have to wait until later on October 3.

Based on my findings, the console edition of Digimon Story: Time Stranger (for PS5 and XSX/S) is expected to launch around9 PM Pacific Time on Thursday, October 2, 2025. For players on the East Coast, specifically in New York City, the game will be available at midnight on October 3.
If you’re planning to play Digimon Story: Time Stranger on PC through Steam, the game is expected to launch around 3 PM Pacific Time and 6 PM Eastern Time on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Unlike many major video game launches today, you can’t spend extra money to access Digimon Story: Time Stranger before it officially comes out. However, a demo is available now, and you can carry your progress from the demo into the full game, giving you a small advantage at the beginning of the story.
