A fan of Hades 2 recently showed off their impressive cosplay of Nemesis, a popular character from Supergiant Games’ new game. This cosplay highlights not only the fantastic character designs in Hades 2 but also the skill and imagination of the game’s fans.
First appearing in early access in 2024, Hades 2 is now fully available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and the Switch 2. The complete release of Hades 2 has been incredibly popular, reaching a peak of over 112,000 players at the same time on Steam and earning very positive reviews. Critics have largely applauded the game’s unique style and engaging gameplay, and it currently has an average score of 94 on OpenCritic.
Hades 2 Fan Showcases Amazing Nemesis Cosplay
A Hades 2 fan, phaseknight, recently shared an incredible cosplay of Nemesis on Reddit. The post featured a single photo of the costume, which closely matches the original character design. The creator even added details like the cel-shading effect found on Nemesis’ armor. Phaseknight explained she first created the cosplay back in 2023, before the game was available in early access, but decided to share it again to mark the 1.0 release. The Nemesis cosplay proved very popular, receiving over 11,000 upvotes and numerous positive comments from other gamers.
Nemesis is a well-liked character in Hades 2. She represents Retribution and is the daughter of Nyx, appearing in the game as someone who fights against Chronos. Within the story, Nemesis initially challenges the main character, Melinoe, but players can eventually develop a romantic relationship with her.
Good news for players: Supergiant Games plans to keep updating Hades 2 even after the full 1.0 version launches. The newest update includes bug fixes and changes to a boss fight that many players found particularly challenging in this popular roguelike game.
Even though Hades 2 has been a hit, it’s uncertain whether Hades 3 will ever happen. Supergiant Games recently shared that they don’t have any plans for a sequel right now. According to studio director Amir Rao, the team prefers to concentrate on their existing projects and isn’t ready to commit to anything new. However, there’s still a chance that Hades 3 could be released in the future.
