Pokemon GO Reveals Halloween 2025 Event Plans

Pokémon GO has announced details for its Halloween event in 2025. Players can look forward to catching Pokémon, collecting items and Stardust, and encountering Pokémon that are new to the game.

Pokemon GO is updated often, but the seasonal updates are especially popular with players. These updates usually introduce new Pokemon or special versions of existing ones, like Pikachu dressed for Halloween or Froakie wearing a witch’s hat.

Pokemon GO Halloween 2025 Part 1

Okay, so *Pokemon GO* just dropped some details about their Halloween 2025 event, and it sounds pretty cool! As a Ghost-type fan, I’m super hyped that Poltchageist and Sinistcha – those adorable Matcha Pokemon – are finally coming to the game. Plus, they’re even letting us try to catch a Shiny Sinistea! They’re getting into the theme with a Poltchageist hat for my avatar, and if I get the Deluxe GO Pass, I can unlock a cute Teatime Pose. The regular Halloween GO Pass will have tiers with bonuses too – more Catch Candy, a better chance for XL Candy with good throws if you’re level 30+, and even more Candy when you transfer Pokemon, with a boosted chance for XL Candy if you’re level 31 or higher. Sounds like a sweet deal!

Alongside the tea-themed Pokémon, players can find Pokémon like Zorua (including its shiny form and Hisuian variant), and Greavard. One-Star Raids will include Galarian Yamask, Sinistea, and Poltchageist, while tougher Three-Star Raids will feature Alolan Marowak, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Hisuian Samurott. Shadow Yamask and Shadow Phantump will appear in Shadow Raids. Completing Field Research tasks will give players a chance to find Sableye, Yamask, Zorua, Hisuian Zorua, Litwick, Vullaby, Phantump, and Spiritomb. Some of these tasks will also reward Mega Energy for Pokémon like Gengar, Houndoom, Sableye, Banette, and Absol.

The first part of the Halloween event in *Pokémon GO* starts on October 21st at 10 AM local time and lasts until October 27th at 10 AM. During the event, players can enjoy a special Halloween-themed remix of the classic Lavender Town music, and Pokémon, PokéStops, and Gyms will all have spooky decorations.
