Trademarks Suggest ‘Starborn’ is Starfield’s Second Expansion

As a dedicated gamer and follower of Bethesda Softworks, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of Starfield since its announcement. The latest news about a potential second expansion called “Starborn” has me beyond excited! This expansion holds special significance to me because I’ve always been fascinated by the lore of the Starfield universe and the concept of the Starborn – humans who have passed through Unity, enabling them to travel between universes.

A new trademark filing suggests that Starfield’s second expansion may be called ‘Starborn’.

I came across an exciting discovery while scrolling through my Twitter feed. A new trademark, recently filed on July 12, 2024, caught my attention. This intriguing intellectual property is proudly owned by ZeniMax Media Inc.

As a seasoned Spacefarer who has traveled through the vast expanse of the multiverse, I can tell you that nothing quite compares to the moment when you come face-to-face with the enigmatic Starborn. Having collected enough Artifacts to unlock the secret of Unity, I was filled with anticipation and a touch of fear as I approached Constellation, the hidden hub of this extraordinary group of humans. Their abilities to traverse between universes were the stuff of legends, and I couldn’t help but feel both humbled and excited by the prospect of joining their ranks. The Starborn welcomed me with open arms, their collective wisdom and experiences adding yet another layer to my own journey through the cosmos. This encounter was a testament to the infinite possibilities that lie beyond our known universe, and I will forever cherish the memories of that life-changing moment.

Starfield: Starborn’s launch date remains uncertain, with fans continuing to anticipate an official announcement for the game’s inaugural DLC, Shattered Space. Shattered Space was previously unveiled prior to Starfield’s release and was bundled in its Premium Edition.

At the very least, it seems Starfield’s Starborn DLC is at least a 2025 release.

On Metacritic, the Xbox Series X edition of Starfield earned a score of 83, while the PC version received a slightly higher rating of 85.
