ARC Raiders Giving Away 500 Free Tokens to Some Players

It’s not surprising to see server problems with hugely popular online games, especially those that become viral sensations or offer a fresh experience. This has been the case with ARC Raiders, which, like Helldivers 2, struggled with server issues when it launched. ARC Raiders quickly gained over 350,000 players on Steam, putting it in the same category as Helldivers and making these initial server problems fairly predictable.

16 Gen 1 Pokemon That Have Been Neglected for Decades

Over the years, Pokémon have gained new forms and abilities. In Generation 4, some original Pokémon got new evolutions, and later, in Generation 6, many received Mega Evolutions. Generation 7 introduced regional variants – Pokémon that look different depending on the area they’re from, like Alolan Vulpix. More recently, Generation 8 brought Gigantamax forms, which are temporary but dramatically change a Pokémon’s appearance, similar to Mega Evolutions. These additions have given fans exciting new ways to experience their favorite Pokémon.

World of Warcraft Could Be Getting a New Premium Currency

The upcoming expansion, Midnight, is bringing many new features to World of Warcraft, but players are especially excited about the new Player Housing system. Interestingly, this feature will actually become available before the full expansion release! Players who pre-order World of Warcraft: Midnight will be able to access Housing starting December 2nd with the launch of Patch 11.2.7.

Pillars of Eternity Testing Out Fan-Favorite Mode with Public Beta

2025 has been a fantastic year for Obsidian Entertainment, with successful RPGs like Grounded and the highly anticipated The Outer Worlds 2. The studio hasn’t neglected its older titles either, particularly the Pillars of Eternity series, which was inspired by classic games like Baldur’s Gate. The world of Eora, established in Pillars of Eternity and continued in Deadfire, is also the setting for their new game, Avowed. Fans of Deadfire were able to experiment with a turn-based combat system, which changed the game’s traditional pacing. Now, after hinting at it earlier this year, Obsidian has announced a beta release of this turn-based combat for the original Pillars of Eternity game.

New Game Looks Like Dungeons and Dragons Meets Final Fantasy Tactics

Many video games try to recreate the experience of playing tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, and Baldur’s Gate 3 is a particularly successful example. It’s challenging to capture the magic of a tabletop RPG in a video game – it’s not just about replacing dice rolls with digital ones. It requires creating a truly open-ended adventure where players feel in control of their choices. Now, the developers at eSolu and Team Mojo Games seem poised to do just that with Odds Chronicles, a game promising a story with many branching paths and plenty of options for players to explore.

Something Weird is Going On With Delisted Xbox 360 Games

As a huge Xbox 360 fan, I remember just how many amazing games were available – over 2000! It’s awesome that over 600 of them still work on my Xbox One and Series X thanks to backwards compatibility. But it’s also really frustrating because so many others have been taken off the digital store, meaning it’s getting harder and harder to play some of my old favorites. It feels like they’re disappearing over time, and that’s a real shame.
