Please be aware that this article reveals some small details from the first part of the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle arc, as well as from the Demon Slayer manga.
Currently, Demon Slayer is the most popular anime series, largely due to the huge success of Infinity Castle Part 1, which was released this summer. The first film was fantastic and has led to the upcoming release of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2. This next installment will showcase key characters from both the Demon Slayer Corps, including Gyomei and Sanemi, and the demon side, featuring powerful adversaries like Kokushibo and Doma.
Shinobu
The Insect Hashira
Although the Insect Hashira passed away in the first Infinity Castle film, she will likely still play a crucial role in the second movie. In fact, Shinobu is expected to be key to overcoming the challenges within Doma.
Shinobu intentionally sacrificed herself to defeat Doma, and her plan was essential for the others to succeed. She secretly poisoned Doma, weakening him enough for her companions to deliver the final blow.
Inosuke
A Powerful Beast Breathing User

The fight against Doma will be a major event in the second part of Infinity Castle, and Inosuke will play a key role. Initially, fans questioned how Inosuke would fit into the overall story, but it’s now clear he’ll be joining the battle to help Kanao. He’ll be a significant asset, and the fight will reveal how Doma impacted Inosuke’s personal story.
Kanao
A Powerful Flower Breathing User

Kanao is the younger sister of Kanae and Shinobu, and she’s preparing to fight Doma in the second part of the Infinity Castle arc. The first movie laid the groundwork for this battle, and viewers already know she’s facing Doma, ready to fight.
She’ll use her Flower Breathing technique to its maximum power, fighting with Inosuke to defeat this Demon and get revenge for her sisters.
Muichiro
The Mist Hashira
The Mist Hashira hasn’t acted yet, but he’ll have a major role – and a heartbreaking fate – in the second part of the Infinity Castle arc. He’ll battle Kokushibo, the strongest of the Upper Rank Demons, though he won’t be able to defeat him.
Kokushibo, an ancestor of Muichiro’s, is set to be a terrifying villain, but Muichiro’s battle against him promises to be incredibly impressive.
Genya
Sanemi’s Brother
Genya is the younger brother of the Wind Hashira, and he has a unique ability: he can consume demons to temporarily gain their powers, including healing.
Genya will fight alongside the others against Kokushibo, providing significant help. However, his battle will be far more challenging compared to everyone else involved.
Sanemi
The Wind Hashira

Sanemi is known as the Wind Hashira and is among the most powerful fighters within Infinity Castle. In the second part of the Infinity Castle arc, he’ll fight with Gyomei, Genya, and Muichiro against Kokushibo, the strongest demon after Muzan.
Sanemi will prove his strength in this fight and will be among those who continue the battle against Muzan.
Gyomei
The Stone Hashira

In the upcoming battles within Infinity Castle Part 2, the most powerful Demon Slayers, known as Hashira, will face off against the strongest Upper Rank Demons. Gyomei, the Stone Hashira, stands out as the oldest and most seasoned fighter, and will play a crucial role in the fight against Kokushibo within Infinity Castle Part 2.
Gyomei will play a key role in defeating Kokushibo, alongside his fellow Demon Slayers, and it’s likely he won’t stop there – he’s expected to continue fighting all the way to Muzan.
Doma
The Upper Rank Two
Doma is a major, powerful demon in Infinity Castle Part 2, and the upcoming movie will reveal a lot more about him. He previously fought Shinobu in the first movie, but their conflict isn’t finished.
Doma is still alive and must be defeated. Kanao and Inosuke will team up to fight him while he’s weakened by Shinobu’s poison.
Kokushibo
The Upper Rank One

After Muzan, Kokushibo is the most terrifying demon, and viewers can expect to be truly frightened when the second part of the Infinity Castle arc is released.
He’s the most frightening and brutal opponent they’ve faced. It will take four of their strongest demon slayers to have a chance against him, and we can expect serious injuries – or worse. This battle is set to be the most intense moment in the entire film.
Nakime
The Upper Rank Four

I’ve been watching the latest developments, and Nakime really stands out as the new Upper Rank Four. People shouldn’t discount her just because she didn’t have a huge, drawn-out fight in the recent arc. I saw her go up against both Obanai and Mitsuri, and it was pretty incredible – they couldn’t even get a single blow past her defense.
Her character’s downfall will be a key event in Infinity Castle, likely concluding the second film. Since her unique power, the Blood Demon Art, is the Infinity Castle itself, its destruction will coincide with her own.
The latest arc of Demon Slayer, ‘Infinity Castle,’ is available now. If you can’t wait for the animated version, you can read it in the manga on Manga Plus. There are currently four seasons of the Demon Slayer anime, all of which you can stream on Crunchyroll. The rest of the story will be released as movies, so fans will need to see them in theaters when they become available in their region.
