The lead developer of SHIB, Shytoshi Kusama, who assumed leadership after the enigmatic creator of Shiba Inu, Ryoshi, chose to keep a low profile, posted a tweet featuring a Shiba Inu dog in the passenger seat of a car. Accompanying this meme, he wrote the message “Mask off.”

This summer, he almost unveiled himself publicly, embarking on a worldwide journey that took him to significant blockchain conferences in Japan, India, and the UAE. There, he held interviews, engaged with attendees at these key events, and shared insights with crypto enthusiasts.
In contrast, during his public engagements, Kusama always donned two masks to conceal his identity. Accompanying him on this journey from Kyoto, Japan, to Mumbai, India, was top SHIB developer Kaal Dhairya, who likewise wore a mask.
SHIB team makes scammers useful for ecosystem
According to U.Today’s report, during the weekend, the Shiba Inu community was warned by the marketing lead Lucie about various TREAT scams. The TREIT token is being developed by the team for the Shibarium ecosystem and is often associated with the #TreatYourself hashtag by the SHIB team. Unfortunately, scammers attempting to deceive SHIB holders by using the same hashtag are exploiting this connection.
Lucie pointed out that this action benefits the ecosystem, as it aids the X algorithm in disseminating information about TREAT and Shibarium.
On the other hand, she cautioned the Shiba Inu community yet again to exercise extreme caution when clicking suspicious links to safeguard their cryptocurrency assets and investments. Apart from TREAT, it’s worth noting that the team is also developing a SHI-based stablecoin.
