Valve Confirms The Steam Machine Won’t Have a Subsidized Price

Valve first revealed the Steam Machine on November 12th as their newest effort to appeal to console gamers. While Valve hasn’t announced a price or release date yet, it’s currently expected to launch around 2026. The machine will run on a powerful six-core AMD processor with speeds up to 4.8 GHz and offer some customization options, including the ability to install different operating systems. Users will be able to choose between models with 512 GB or 2 TB of storage, and it will support displays up to 8K resolution through DisplayPort.
