After two exhilarating cours, we’re diving headfirst into Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Cour 3 – The Conflict, and it promises to be the best yet!

Following two thrilling and captivating installments, the third chapter of “Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War” titled “The Conflict” debuts on October 5th, 2024. The first two segments were brimming with suspenseful moments, intense clashes, and surprising plot turns. All these elements were skillfully crafted with superior animation, music, and direction that surpassed the quality of “Bleach” in its entirety. The third part, “The Conflict,” promises to not only meet but surpass fan expectations even further.

Following the unveiling of Bleach TYBW Part 2, Studio Pierrot disclosed the formation of a spin-off studio called “Pierrot Films.” For more than two decades, Studio Pierrot has faced criticism for its mediocre animation and adaptations of popular manga such as Naruto, Tokyo Ghoul, and Bleach. While there were instances of excellence, many fans feel that these adaptations fell short in accurately representing the original works.

Upon the unveiling of Bleach TYBW, Studio Pierrot amazed viewers by skillfully animating the new arc with top-notch contemporary style and outstanding rhythm and guidance. Something the initial series lacked. Although the first two sections were well-received, they were still judged against the exceptional animation quality displayed in Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, and Jujutsu Kaisen.

The fresh independent production house, Pierrot Films, has been established with the aim of producing high-quality works, similar to renowned contemporary series. This new entity will operate separately from the primary studio, with Bleach TYBW serving as their flagship production.

Expansion of the Source Material

Tite Kubo Seeks to Please Fans

Tite Kubo collaborated extensively with Studio Pierrot to enhance the initial manga and incorporate numerous scenes and storylines he desired to develop during the initial publication. Unfortunately, due to his deteriorating health at the time, he was unable to do so. Instead of just serving as a consultant, Kubo worked hand-in-hand with series director Tomohisa Taguchi, contributing many fresh ideas for the anime. Some well-known additions include Uryuu Ishida’s new scenes in Part 1, Ichigo’s prolonged fight against the Bambies, a flashback revealing the original Gotei 13, and Senjumaru’s newly created Bankai.

Tite Kubo has revealed that Part 3 will offer the most new material yet. Kubo has hinted that the beloved character, Captain Juushirou Ukitake, will have more scenes added to deepen his role in the climactic storyline. Moreover, a fresh Bankai (a powerful technique) for another character will make its debut, though the identity of this character remains a secret. This follows a pattern from previous parts, as the Bankais for Shinji Hirako and Senjumaru Shutara were not initially part of the original storyline.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t contain my excitement for Part 3! Unlike the intense battle scenes in the first two parts, this one will have fewer skirmishes, but let me tell you, the ones we get are going to be epic! Our favorite captains will go head-to-head with the members of Yhwach’s elite guard, the Schutztaffel. This clash is set to unveil some fascinating backstories about these characters and introduce their powerful Bankai to our delight.

In this segment, we’ll reintroduce some cherished characters that fans have missed for quite a while. Many of them are expected to fight alongside Ichigo and the Gotei 13 in Bleach TYBW Part 3 – The Conflict, promising an even greater victory than before.
