Battlefield 6 Is Getting a New Best Sniper Rifle

While its base speed of 880 meters per second might seem slow, it’s actually the second-fastest in the game, only behind the standard sniper rifle, the M2010 ESR, in Battlefield 6. Adding an extended barrel eliminates any concerns about speed.

This sniper rifle stands out with its remarkably low recoil, a 10-round magazine, and a faster firing rate. It’s a significant improvement – quicker, lighter, and just as lethal – making it especially effective for Recon players who prefer close-quarters combat. Overall, the weapon itself is a clear win, but Battlefield 6 players anticipating Season One should be aware that this power might create balance issues in the game.

The Unknown Variables Surrounding Battlefield 6’s Mini Scout

How players get this new weapon will be key to how well it’s received. During testing, the gun was immediately available with all its upgrades, but it’s unlikely players will have that easy access at launch – and that’s a good thing. However, unlocking weapons in Battlefield 6 can be challenging, especially if you’ve tried to get the PSR.
