The Goat Simulator games were never intended to be realistic, and some players even think they were deliberately designed to be silly. Despite this, the unusual and enjoyable simulator has become surprisingly popular, and Goat Simulator 3 continues that tradition by letting players embrace the hilariously chaotic life of a goat gone wild.
Goat Simulator 3 lets you cause chaos as a goat, as you’d expect! But hidden among all the mayhem is a surprisingly official questline: you can actually help the police find three criminals by completing the “Whistleblowers” quest.
How to Start the Whistleblower Quest in Goat Simulator 3
To start the Whistleblower quest, go to the Downtown area on the map. Find the Police Department – it’s marked on the map. In front of the station, you’ll see three Wanted posters with an exclamation mark on them. Interact with those posters to accept the quest.
As a huge Goat Simulator 3 fan, I stumbled upon this surprisingly tricky quest called ‘Whistleblower.’ Basically, you have to find three people who are literally causing a ruckus by whistling in public and… capture them! It’s a fun little nod to characters from the game’s story, which I always appreciate. The hardest part? The game doesn’t tell you where they are! You only get these really vague clues, so it’s a proper scavenger hunt. It took me a while, but finally getting them all was super satisfying.
All Whistleblowers will be wearing red suits.
Wanted Criminal: Goldilocks Location
It’s easiest to find Goldilocks first, so that’s who players should look for initially. She’s located right beside two ATMs, in front of the Wanted Posters – this is where the Whistleblower quest starts. To capture her, players need to ‘lick’ her, then drag her into a jail cell within the Police Station.
If you put more than one whistleblower in the same jail cell, they might both escape and go back to where they started. It’s best to put each whistleblower in a separate cell.
Wanted Criminal: Tinker Bell Location
Players need to go to the Food Court in Downtown. Look for a large building with signs that say “Visit Libertarian Island” – it’s marked on the map.
Players can spot Tinker Bell causing mischief near a building – she’ll be whistling! To complete this task (which involves the rather odd action of “licking” in Goat Simulator 3), players need to lick her and then drag her to the Police Station shown on the map.
Wanted Criminal: Big Bad Wolf Location
As a movie buff, I love discovering hidden spots in games, and this is a good one! You can find Big Bad Wolf chilling on top of a building called Tell Us Plaza – he’s leaning against the water tower. It’s pretty easy to locate, just head east from Coscon and south of the Port of San Angora. Once you finish up the final mission with the whistling criminal, you get a super cool police cap and glasses for your character – perfect for blending in!
