ARC Raiders: What We Left Behind Quest Guide

As a player, I’ve noticed a lot of quests in ARC Raiders send you running all over the place, and “What We Left Behind” is definitely one of them! It’s kind of a throwback to older games where they don’t hold your hand and give you every little detail, but honestly, I’m really enjoying that! It makes figuring things out so much more rewarding and keeps me hooked.

Okay, so there’s always going to be a bit of a grind with these quests, but honestly, just focusing on finishing them is key. They give you awesome rewards and open up even more stuff to do, so I always try to knock them out when I get them!

This guide will walk you through locating three key areas and finishing what they require. You won’t need to collect any specific items for this quest, so don’t hesitate to take chances if it helps you complete it faster.

What We Left Behind Quest Guide

You need to finish both the Dormant Barons and Greasing Her Palms quests before you can start this one. While neither quest is very hard, be cautious when searching the Barons for items, as they can explode!

After starting the quest, you’ll see a short video explaining what you need to do. Then, you can begin preparing to complete it.

Dam Battlegrounds — South Swamp Outpost

If you’re heading to the Dam Battlegrounds, focus on the west side of the map. That’s where you’ll find your objective, and it’s a reliable area for finding good loot.

Okay, so I need to find the biggest building right under the name of this area on my map. Once I’m inside, there are some notes on a table I need to grab – that’ll finish up this part of the quest.

Spaceport — Bilguun’s Hideout

Finding the Spaceport can be a little difficult. It doesn’t appear as a labeled spot on the map, so you’ll have to search for it yourself near the east side of the Container Storage area.

To find this item, head to the outside of the wall and follow it until you spot a big, Raider Camp-like building built into the side. Climb the ladder to get inside, and you’ll easily find the notes there.

Buried City — Raider Camp

This item isn’t too hard to locate, but you’ll encounter some troublesome ARC enemies along the way. Go to the parking garage in the Buried City and enter. You’ll likely find yourself on the second floor.

After you go inside, head to the south side to find a door that leads to a zipline. Ride the zipline down, and you’ll find some containers you can search for items.

This area might have a Bombadier, so approach with caution if you’re not ready to fight one.

What We Left Behind Rewards

After finishing all the tasks – in any order you choose – return to Tian Wen to submit them. You’ll receive rewards, but completing these objectives will also unlock new quests and let you continue the story.

You’ll get the following attachments for your guns:

  • Muzzle Brake II
  • Vertical Grip II
  • Stable Stock II

Alright, you’re finished now and can see how much you’ve earned from your time above ground. As you sort through everything you found, think about what you should recycle and what you want to hold onto.
