Techland Returns to Dying Light 2 Updates and Asks The Community What’s Next

With the release of Dying Light: The Beast behind them, Techland is refocusing its team on Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Franchise director Tymon Smektala recently asked the community what kind of content they’d like to see next, hinting that they have at least six months of updates planned.

It was expected, as Techland had previously explained that Dying Light: The Beast was meant to bridge the gap while they continued to support Dying Light 2: Stay Human, their ongoing live-service game released in 2022.

What’s Next for Dying Light 2: Stay Human?

I was so excited to see a post from the creative director over at Techland! It sounds like big things are coming for Dying Light 2: Stay Human – you know, that awesome open-world zombie game that came out in 2022. It seems like they’re really committed to supporting it as a live-service game, which is great news for fans like me!

Now that The Beast update is out, we can shift more resources to support DL2:SH, as planned. What should our top priorities be? What features, updates, or bug fixes would you like to see immediately, or within the next 3-6 months?
